We have six security cameras. One at the front door, one above the garage facing the driveway, one inside the garage, one in the backyard facing the garden, one at the side yard, and one at the pool deck. All cameras record color video and audio and will be on at all times.

There are also two Amazon Echo dots inside the property. There is one located in the master bedroom and one located in the living room behind the TV. Guests may unplug the Echos if they choose.

*Cleaning*
Casa Tropicál will always be professionally cleaned prior to arrival. Guests with extended stays will also receive complementary cleaning service every two weeks. The bi-weekly service will consist of light cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. It will not include linen service or tidying of personal items.

** Is the pool heated? **
Yes! The pool is heated to 80 degrees in the winter months (Nov - April). However, the heater shuts off if the air temp drops below 52 degrees. The pools stays naturally warm in the heat of the summer. If guests would like to increase the temperature, there will be an additional fee per night for the entire duration of the reservation.

** What items do you supply? **
We provide linens, bath towels, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, a well stocked kitchen with utensils including pots/pans, coffee maker, basic spices, board games, etc. We provide enough toilet paper and paper towels to get you through the first few days of your stay.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio. There's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. The bathroom offers a jetted tub and hair dryers. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a washing machine, and a fireplace. Kitchen was very well equipped even though we didn’t cook the 4 days we were there. House was super clean and a few extra niceties. Location is great with the Pinellas bike trail a few blocks away. We weren’t able to use the pool because the weather was too cool. Would definitely rent this property again. Communicating with property manager was pretty instantaneous

Peaceful getaway from winter

A beautiful home and private backyard sanctuary! This is our second time staying here and we love it! So thoughtful to have fresh flowers, muffins, and strawberries for us. The kitchen is incredible. We love to stay home and grill and that is so perfect to enjoy at the table by the pool. Super close to the bike trail which is our favorite activity. Plus a short walk to see the amazing sunsets. The only disappointment was the heater was not able to get fixed in the pool and it was simply too cold to swim in the pool. We love the small town feeling of Crystal Beach. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! God’s blessings to you both.

February 2 Week Recharge - Peaceful & Relaxing

Chantal & Luis shared a lovely home and pool with us. The neighborhood is a quiet spot centered around the Crystal Beach park. Every evening the sunset draws a neighborhood group. The home is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you can imagine. The private heated pool is great. Chantal & Luis quickly responded to our communications. We’ve reserved again for next year.

Lovely setting; great neighborhood

The house is charming and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and lots of silverware. There is a well-set coffee and tea area with lots of choices for tea. All the furniture was in good shape and quite comfortable. There were vases with fresh flowers waiting for us upon arrival. The pool area is lovely and we often ate breakfast and dinner on the patio, poolside. Crystal Beach is a great neighborhood. The house is located close to the bike path and it’s a great neighborhood to take walks. Be sure to take a short walk to the waterfront for spectacular sunsets. The host was easily reached and responsive. We had a lovely 11 day visit.

Casa Tropical - Paradise

Chantal and Luis are wonderful hosts! 5* Communication was prompt and clear. Their home is clean, spacious, and lovingly furnished with virtually everything you could need. (This is not the typical furnished-by-IKEA rental, in all the best ways!) The location and neighborhood are ideal. If given the opportunity to visit Casa Tropical again, I would not hesitate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Crystal beach vacation.

The house was very nice in a quiet neighborhood. The hostess left us a welcome tray of muffins and fruit. We especially enjoyed the shaded lanai around the pool and patio. We didnt get a chance to use the bikes. The beach wagon left for our use made going to the beach very easy. We also forgot a few things when we left that we didn’t realize and she contacted us that her cleaner had found them and would we like her to mail them to us. We really appreciated that! We would stay again.

The house was just as lovely as all the pictures indicated. The area was very quiet and a great base to see all the sights we wanted to in the area. Wonderful Casa!

We've stayed here twice, for a total of 5 weeks. The listing describes it perfectly. Hosts Chantal and Luis are available, friendly and responsive. The house is really a labor of love on their part, beautiful, comfortable and fully equipped. Crystal Beach is simple, lovely, quiet. We loved the proximity to Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Honeymoon Beach State Park, Clearwater, St. Pete and Sarasota. Many fine restaurants! And of course the heated saltwater pool. Book Casa Tropical!

We're Coming Back!

We just spent two weeks at Casa Tropical and have already booked for 2024. Trust the listing. This home is lovely, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden and pool (with waterfall!) are private and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, muffins and bedside chocolates. Chantal and Luis were wonderful hosts, extremely responsive to our questions and requests. We also loved the whole Crystal Beach area, in particular the gorgeous beaches at Honeymoon Island State Park. We were close enough to Tampa, St. Pete and Sarasota to enjoy what those towns offered. The Greek restaurants and bakeries in Tarpon Springs were a revelation. Thank you, we highly recommend Casa Tropical!

Best VRBO Yet

We have rented numerous homes through VRBO. This was the best yet as many are less than advertised. This home is more than you would expect. The hosts are amazing and the house is spotless and appointed with everything you could want to make your vacation perfect. We will definitely come back. Chantel and Louis are amazing hosts.

Home away from home

Disclaimer... I do not know the owners or have any financial interest in this property. Short answer. Highly recommend. We have stayed at multiple VRBO properties. This one had everything. Anything you can think of has already been provided. The most well equipted property we have ever been to. When you travel. If you forgot something. No worries.. This property probably will already have it waiting for you. When you enter the home lots of small details had been pre planned for you. Take a moment and appreciate. The fresh fruit, danishes and chocolate by your pillow. Notice how the kitchen is well equipted with spices drinks and assorted foods. A coffee/ Tea bar equipted better then any 5 star hotel. Small details everywhere. Grill yep. But also charcole and lighter fluid. Bikes yep. But also helmets and bike locks. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Enough for 2 weeks. Toilet paper yep. Enough for a week. Games yep. Washer and dryer yep. An also provided all detergent needed. Pool yep. But not described is the little waterfall in the pool. Pool area was landscape with a peaceful and natural environment Community. Quiet day and night. Location convient to everything. Brochures of local activities are provided and was a great help in daily activities planning. This was my mothers first VRBO experience. I fear this property has set a standard other future properties will have difficulty matching.

A very nice place to relax and get away

Just Wonderful

We were only able to stay for 5 days, but what a wonderful 5 days. We were able to visit with my mother-in-law who will be 99 in September(and entirely independent) and my sister- in-law and her husband. And of course we managed to spend the afternoons in the pool. Restaurants and shopping close by and great places to walk near the Gulf. We couldn't have had a better time.
