I asked for two wash cloths & the young man at the front desk looked around at the room behind the desk then went to a blue tote & started taking items out of the tote. I asked him if he knew for certain if those were clean. He said I think they’re just stained. I said I want clean ones. He said he’d have some brought up to our room in about 45 minutes- that NEVER HAPPENED. No room service came on the second day to empty trash or give us new/clean towels. The young man at the front desk is lacking in customer service skills. The pool was closed & apparently has been for months but the website said they had a pool and that’s one of the two reasons I booked this hotel. The second reason was because the website said no pets allowed but there was at least one dog staying there. The fruit at breakfast was too old to be served- bananas were BROWN. Trays of food sat empty for several minutes - at least 15-20 minutes both mornings we were there. Breakfast was 7-10 and at 7:45 the egg tray was empty so I asked if there would be more and the person there said no (I looked at it when we left the hotel at 9:30 and there were eggs- not sure why she told me no at 7:45). The floor level buttons in the elevator were super hard to press and sometimes didn’t work at all. Thankfully, the button to open the door back up worked so we could get out. We parked on the backside of the building because our room faced that way and we could see our car but the back door didn’t latch or lock.
