The staff were very professional and helpful, especially the front desk and the Sea Grape restaurant. The pool and grounds were well kept. The room was cheerfully decorated but very tired, especially the kitchenette and the bathroom. The housekeeping staff did a good job on the regular daily cleaning, however the high touch surfaces (door handle areas and cupboards were in need of attention). Overall it was fine for the price point.

Place is an old school hotel which had some minor upgrades. The tv had no sound on all channels but BBC. Maintenance guy #1 could not fix it, #2 fed us some bs about the signal, #3 actually fixed it by unplugging the box and plugging back in, which i had to do constantly. The shower had a little better than lukewarm water. No face cloths in the room. The restaurant had fairly good food if you had an eternity to wait for it. One lunch took an hour, one day breakfast was the same. Staff was friendly as lumps of coal. In order to use the stove which was gas, you have to light it with a match! They give you some short little strike on the box matches, half of which didn't work. Grounds were o.k. In short, looked nothing like what was portrayed in the pictures on the Travelocity website. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was super helpful and friendly. There was only 2 things that could be better. The shower head for one creates puddles of water due to the shower glass not being wide enough and the shower head not having space to be moved. Second thing, there is started molded on the ceiling.

The staff was friendly and responsive. The room was a good size, we where three in the room. Restaurant on site was great,staff was friendly. Location was prime. St Lawrence Gap, offered dining options as well as entertainment within walking distance. I always enjoy this location when I am on the island.

The room was adequate (the bed was HARD) and the bathroom is small. The full-size fridge was appreciated. The employees who stood out and were extremely friendly and helpful: Rosita, Patrina, and Jeff, from the front desk, and Mia from the restaurant.

Dover Beach Hotel has a great beach, 2 pools on the porperty and lots of good restaurants nearby. All the staff were very good and in particular the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. While the hotel is dated the room was clean and had a very comfortable extra large King size bed. Great to have the kitchenette which allowed us to have breakfast in the room in the morning as well as any extra leftovers from large restaurant meals. Overall this was good value for a great location.
