Spring Break

Nice and relaxing lake house

We had a really nice time with our family at this beautiful home. The lake views are absolutely stunning. There is plenty of space and natural light. The location is super private and away from any urban setting. It is a great place to relax and be with family.

Review of Perfect Lakeside Mountain Retreat

Our stay at this incredible lake house was everything we hoped for and more! The views of the lake and mountains were simply breathtaking, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to escape and relax. One of our favorite features was the wonderful dock. We spent hours swimming off it and just lounging by the water, soaking in the sun and enjoying the tranquility. Whether you're looking for an active day on the lake or just want to float and relax, the dock was a perfect spot. In the evenings, we gathered around the fire pit for s’mores and storytelling. It was the ideal way to end each day, with the crackling fire and star-filled sky creating the perfect cozy vibe. The house itself was spotless and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals, and the living spaces were warm and inviting. The beds were super comfortable, and we all slept peacefully, surrounded by the quiet of the area. We also loved the abundance of wildlife! We spotted deer at night and enjoyed watching geese and even ospreys during the day. The location felt like a true nature retreat. Overall, this lake house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. From the dock to the fire pit, it’s a dream spot for relaxation and making lasting memories. We can't wait to return!

Great for Family and Friends!

Our family and friends loved the “Perfect Lake House on Watts Bar!” Beautiful views, the kids loved the dock, and we trailered two boats and the dock was plenty big for both boats. The inside of the house, again delivered beautiful views, it was very spacious and allowed for all of us to hang out together and not be on top of each other, the house was very clean and had everything we needed, and the play room, trampoline, and basketball hoop was a bonus for the kids as well! Will definitely stay here again!

July 4th

The owners were very responsive. The house was well stocked, clean, and had many amenities. The kids loved all the things available for them to do at the house and dock. The neighbors were very nice and informative. They even let us rent their pontoon. Would definitely stay here again!!! Thanks!

The PERFECT Lake House is CORRECT

Our experience at this property was AMAZING! The hosts have thought of everything to make this house completely “Renter Friendly”. The house was well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, and even the game room! There were TONS of outdoor equipment for both kids and adults! The house was VERY clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. There was plenty of space in the house and with our party of 8, we never felt crowded. We had our 2 dogs with us and the large fenced in back yard gave them so much space to run around. The host, Rex, was very nice and responded immediately to our needs. We will definitely rent this house for vacation again!

Amazing Patio View

We booked a 2nd time and are planning many more to come. My boys fished, the firepit was perfect for smores, and we rented the pontoon from the neighbor who recommended places to hike and eat.

Beautiful Lake View

We enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely. Great Lake views and the house amenities were outstanding. Stand up paddle boards, kayaks, blow up floats, fire pit, deck, screened in porch and grill. The host communicated often and provided a lot of information about the area and the house. Highly recommend this house for a relaxing time on Lake Norris.

Peaceful and serene

The view of the lake and mountains was great. The seclusion of the area was very peaceful and the silence was unique. We enjoyed the kayaks and had a fire in the fire pit one evening.

Amazing Views

The views are absolutely breathtaking! We enjoyed our stay so much and didn't want to leave! The screened in porch with the table/fire combo was one of our favorite parts. We sat for hours just soaking up the view by the warmth of the fire. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect getaway for Thanksgiving dinner. We had ten of our family members for dinner. Lots of space, a lake view to wake up to and games to play after waking up from that Thanksgiving dinner. We absolutely loved it and will visit again for some fishing.

Absolutely perfect!

We stayed for a long weekend to visit family. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. The game room kept the teenagers entertained and the water toys kept all of us busy on the water. The kitchen had everything we needed and having the laundry room was a plus. Next time we head out to Tennessee, we will be staying here! Thank you for a great experience!

Lovely lake house

The house and location are terrific. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space, inside and out. Beautiful views of the lake. Great wildlife viewing (including a bald eagle who landed on a tree in the yard, right next to the deck). Agree with a previous review that the photos don't convey just how nice it is.

Beautiful property and views of lake

We had a wonderful time at this property for the two nights we stayed! The home inside was clean, comfortable and well stocked with utensils and such for cooking, eating, drinking, and washing up. The master bed was very comfortable and the blinds kept the room dark for sleeping in in the morning. The yard was well manicured and we were happy to have been able to utilize the kayak and paddle boards out on the lake. (The kayak was missing the plug though and also has a hole in it...my husband was taking on water, so he switched to the other paddle board.LOL ...luckily he wasn't too far out in the lake when he realized it!) The only downfall to our stay was how everything out side was covered in spiderwebs and spiders. There was literally not one chair or table that we could comfortably sit on outside to enjoy some time out there. The blue adriondak chairs were the easiest to clean off, so we wiped those down and used those on the patio and hauled them down to the dock, but everything else was covered in spiders and webs. It unfortunately made being outside a bit less appealing, and that was a bummer. The views of the lake from this property are AMAZING and the walk to the dock and water is easy as the property sits on level ground with just a small slope to the water...no stairs to get to the water at all!! It was GREAT!! I would definitely stay here again...I would just hope that the outside furniture, home and dock would be a bit more spiderweb free!!
