Very nice property, right on the main strip. Location was the best part. Rooms are clean and all good amenities. They are a bit small but imagine most rooms to be this size in that area. Shower a little small for this tall lanky person and the bed was quite hard. Didn't know housekeeping was included and free coffee machine were both nice touches. Highly recommend!

Amazing location for the price. Couldn’t have been anymore convenient. Room was clean and had just what you needed (no frills). Area can be a bit noisy at night but that’s to be expected with the location and wasn’t a bother for us. Would stay again, especially if you are on budget!

Nice hotel room located on quaint shopping street. Many restaurants and market nearby. 10 to 15 minute walk to get down to the water if you use the lift. Very scenic. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location, like perfect place to be if you want to be walking distance from everything. Our check in experience was odd, we had to ring the bell of another resident to open the door and the owner was cleaning the rooms. She was very nice but barely spoke English. Very clean place though and fresh and updated. We had small boat like windows to see outside which was weird but we didn’t mind because we didn’t spend much time in the room anyways. Our last night a band played in the restaurant directly underneath us till 1 am very very loudly. Would probably stay again but certainly not a place for families in my opinion.

excellent location

Very centrally located but just far enough away from the start of the main drag of shops towards town . A 10-15 min AMBLE ( you could rush it in 5 !) to Piazzo Tasso the main square. There is a cafe below that opens about 7am So great to get coffee and another place opposite for breakfasts . The main drag is closed off to cars so you don’t get the noise of traffic . You do get the noise of families staying up late in the square but that’s a normal thing for town life . If you’re looking for peace and quiet book further out of town ...wifi is a bit slow . We had 3 rooms and all were immaculate , windows to the floor , good air conditioning, hair dryer, big wall safe , cleaned daily. Lady who ran the place was lovely.. very friendly. On arrival you had to ring a number and someone came within 5 minutes with the keys ,we had a coffee in the cafe downstairs while we waited. It was all very easy . Would stay here again . There is not someone always on duty at reception/office as you would in a typical hotel and once you’ve checked in you’re left very much to your own devises which suited us great. This seems to be the norm as we had other friends staying further down the road in a similar setup where office hours were kept also. Highly recommend this place . Just a thought...I’d recommend emailing your approximate arrival time as there is not always someone sat in the office and it’s gives them notice . Great place .

Very central for most things

This is a quaint place, nicer than a large bustling hotel, its quiet and you rarely see or hear any other guests. Room was basic but clean and all you need because so much to do and many places to visit. Only down side to us was the noise of the children playing in the square outside until 11pm but that was only our first night as we were up really early and catching up on sleep, every other night we came home after this time. We asked for a kettle cups and extra pillows when we arrived and they were delivered straight away. In all for the cost and convenience i would definitely stay here again

The shower doors were broken and we were unable to raise or lower the temperature of the shower water. My wife was disappointed to not have a hot shower at the end of a long day of walking on the amalfi coast.

Would have been nice if we got to stay here

We booked this hotel 4 months before our trip to Italy. We arrived in Sorrento and walked from the train station to Blurooms (not ideal, I suggest getting a cab). We went inside to check in and the lady there didn't speak English very well so it was hard to understand her. After she was talking in broken English and saying "I'm so sorry" repeatedly, we realized we weren't going to be staying at Blurooms. It turns out they overbooked the rooms and, since we were the last to arrive that day, we had to move to a different hotel. She walked us 3 blocks down the street to another hotel and told us we had a room there. I think they had a deal with that hotel to let us stay there. Their "deal" was that we got their smallest room in the attic (the elevators didn't even go up to our floor). I was looking forward to staying at Blurooms due to its great location, but was very disappointed when we were forced to go to a different hotel and didn't get any sort of compensation back for the terrible misunderstanding. Not a very fun situation to deal with in a foreign country!

Good room in central location

We arrived at around 5pm. Having read reviews on the rooms we were aware that staff/owners are not on site most of the time. We called the tel no. on the door and someone came over within a couple of minutes & showed us to our room. Service was very good, we were given a map of the area & were asked if we had any questions etc. We had an attic room which was very comfortable, clean & spacious but the downside was no balcony. The air conditioning unit was leaking water on day 1 but we reported it, got a response within minutes & it was sorted out. There was a little bit of noise at night from a few local kids in the square but it was quiet by about midnight & didnt really bother us at all.
