For a Hilton property was a bit surprised how many items there was a charge. $ 5.00 for a cup of coffee in the evening vs other hotels having a coffee bar at NC to patrons. $4 for parking each day, most hotels in this category offer NC parking. Thought Garden Inn by Hilton is a step above Hampton Inn, but we both felt Hampton inn is as nice or even nicer than this Garden Inn brand. Plus a much better value at their Hampton Inn brand. Will stay away from Garden Inn properties

We really enjoyed our stay here! The property is very nice and affordable. We went for World Cup in Mechanicsville and the drive was super easy! A HUGE shoutout to the night manager on the night we checked in for understanding we would be late because of a delayed flight. My husband and I were both nervous wrecks because our flight was delayed 6 hours and we missed picking up our rental car. She made the trip much less stressful by ensuring a room would be ready once we arrived even though it was technically past check in time!! Couldn’t be more thankful! Our only “dislike” of this property was breakfast wasn’t included and it was kind of pricey. We ended up getting breakfast at a Wawa down the road and it all worked out fine. :)

It was not advertised that the pool is totally shut down and unable to be used. This was our main reason for picking this hotel and choosing to stay in a hotel so this was a huge disappointment. There was also an extremely loud, deep, consistent humming sound that we could hear in the room that made it difficult to sleep. The front desk attendant was cordial but did not seem like he knew what he was doing. He would not accept my husbands military ID as a form of ID which was quite the insult to his service. The breakfast was not up to par with other Hilton garden inns we have stayed at and many parts were soggy and/chewy. Overall the weekend was a bust and we could not justified spending $320 on another night there so we cancelled our second night and went home. Just a bummer. We were so disappointed. The room was nice and it was so great that they’ve dog friendly and the location was so good for what we were trying to do that weekend but the hotel and staff just wasn’t worth it at all!
