This was an amazing family getaway and a stay we will truly remember. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. We loved spending time together by the fireplace, cooking in the beautiful and fully equipped kitchen, and enjoying the games as a family. The house is incredibly comfortable, warm, and beautifully designed with so many thoughtful details that made our stay extra special. The photos don’t do this home justice — it is even more beautiful in person. We felt relaxed, happy, and grateful, and we genuinely enjoyed every single corner of the house. We can’t wait to come back.

Words can't capture the sheer joy we experienced on our family trip, but our 4-year-old granddaughter nailed it when she exclaimed, “I’ll never forget that cabin!” The cabin was a dream come true, providing all the space our lively family needed to create unforgettable memories. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the slides and play unit, and we spent countless hours laughing and competing over games at the dinner table. Meanwhile, the adults relished those cool evenings outside, chatting and diving into even more games under the stars. One highlight was our thrilling walk down the driveway where we spotted an elk! Each day was packed with fun—playing frisbee golf and cornhole.Our adventures didn’t stop there! We explored the beautiful area with strolls in Torreon, celebrated at Show Low Days, and treated ourselves to delicious ice cream from The House Café. Lisa was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions before and during our stay, making everything seamless and enjoyable. As we were packing up, I overheard one of the grandkids plead, “Can we please stay one more day?” We happily responded that we could plan for a return trip next year, which filled them with excitement!

Great Stay

Absolutely loved our stay! My wife and I with our 4 kids (6-17) and my mom. Tons of space, and home was set up perfectly for our needs. While our 6 year old was having a blast on the playset, I was busy whooping my boys as some frisbee golf (Ok I lost, but who's keeping score). So much to do inside and out, we spent a great deal of time doing both. Homes near this home, but trees make you feel seclusion and we never felt like a neighbor over us when outside. In the woods feel but a short drive to grocery, restaurants, etc. Would definitely return.

Best Large Family Cabin Ever

I do not have adequate words to describe what a beautiful cabin this is. All 3 of our grandchildren age range 1-8 years old had a blast. We have 17 total between our family and my sister in law’s. The kitchen was a dream to cook large meals. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. We will definitely stay here again.Our property manager was beyond impressive to work with. .

This property is fantastic— updated and beautiful, excellent location, tons of space to accommodate a large or multiple families, lots to do outside, and great activities for kids! The host was accommodating allowing us to check in early and was quick to respond when we had issues and questions. We all agreed that we’d love to stay at this home again. Thanks for everything!!

Weekend w/ Family & Friends

Had a great weekend w/ family and friends 16 total! Fully stocked kitchen w/ a pantry of extra appliances. Could have used a few more towels for our group. Host was super accommodating and responsive. Beds were really comfortable and had incredibly soft sheets. 2-6 Deer visited nearly every evening. Definitely will re-book in the future.

Amazing Home

There were 11 of us who stayed at this home. It was our granddaughter’s 18th birthday and she requested that all of us to stay together in one place. Every person had their own room/bed which was great. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you could possibly need (except a crockpot but we brought ours) to cook meals for large groups. There were a variety of spices in the cabinets in case you forget something. The coffee maker is a combination drip/Keurig so you have your choice of the type of coffee you want. The beds are comfortable with nice linens. The towels are nice quality. We loved hanging out on the decks and spent most of our time outside. There are multiple socializing areas which is great for large groups - outside and inside. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and responded immediately to any communication sent to her. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was absolutely stunning. Super clean, spacious, accommodating and very comfortable and cozy. Slide House

Beautiful home in the perfect location. 3.5 acres makes it feel like you're all alone in the woods. Spacious house with great amenities for adults and kids. 5 stars for sure.

Fantastic property!

Kids loved the playset, frisbee golf, toys, and exploring the large lot. There was alot to keep them busy and lake wasn't very far. Plenty of room for the whole family and very comfortable bedrooms. Host responded quickly to questions. We all loved it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful house!

We enjoyed our time at the slide cabin. Our children loved the property. The views are amazing. There were a few details that could be improved on such as the load of dirty towels that were left in the washer, and there were plates and utensils that were dirty, yet they were put away in the cabinets.

MLK ski weekend

Kitchen had everything we needed, the pantry was awesome. Great neighborhood. We were bummed website said there was a spa but there was not. Would have love a hot tub after skiing . The slide coming off the deck was pretty cool. The kid loved the swings in the backyard .

Annual Memorial cabin trip- 11/10/23- 11/14/23

This cabin was amazing. My family rents a cabin every year in November to come together to remember my son who passed. He loved the outdoors and the cold forest. So, every year, we take a family trip during Veterans weekend and find a cabin in AZ. We love coming together in a large kitchen, cooking, playing card games, playing outside games in the forest, going on hikes, sitting under the stars in the cold night, barbequing, listening to music, telling stories while making new memories. We did all of that and more. It had all the amenities, and the pictures don't do it justice at all, it is beautiful. The cabin is large enough for a family of 16, and we all had enough space to be together and space to be alone. I definitely, would highly recommend it and give it a 5 star....thank you so much!
