Staff barely courteous. Room had no proper lighting. Just small bedside lights, a dull LED strip behind the bed and a lamp we had to crawl behind the desk to find a switch for. Fixtures were flimsy. The desk lifts for the hairdryer, but hinges were loose so uneven. Breakfast hugely disappointing. Coffee machine that only dispenses 1 cup at a time and slowly. Coffee pods ran out multiple times and felt rationed. Items ran out or were not replenshed until staff were asked for them.

Its ok and the rooms are nice after updating. Onsite bar/restaurant is decent. However, noise from building work on floor below created some disturbance from before 730 am and makes public areas less presentable. We weren't informed of the building work until after booking. Also the hotel offers daily room servicing but only on request, which we were also not informed of. Car park is very busy & seems to be used for waiting by taxi drivers as there is no access control. Very reasonable room rates overall that probably take into account the above.

The room was great, the swimming/spa and gym facility was great. The evening food provided at the integral tavern was adequate. I personally would use hotel again but eat elsewhere. I had breakfast at a great cafe at the back of the hotel - wharf side.
