Our seaside cabin is an accessible, spacious, waterfront cabin with amazing views of Resurrection Bay and the Chugach Mountain range. It has the feel of a modern houseboat at high tide.
This craftsman cabin is ADA-accessible and perfect for 2 guests. It includes a roll-in shower, accessible ramp, queen-size bed, sitting area, small kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge, and two burner stove, outdoor patio with BBQ, private firepit, and beach access.
Rustic Roots Cabins offers 7 nightly units in Seward, set on the beachfront of Lowell Point. Your space is rustic, yet clean, and caters to the new generation of adventure travelers. Come indulge in privacy while having all of the homey amenities you might need.
Guests have the entire oceanfront cabin to themselves. There is a private outdoor patio and beach access right in front. There is also a shared firepit on property for guest use, as well as a yoga studio and chicken coop.
The cabin includes its own personalized keypad for self-check in, so guests do not need to interact with the hosts if they prefer privacy.
PLEASE NOTE: We took over the Rustic Roots property in 2024. This rustic cabins has been and will continue to go under cosmetic renovations to give it a more modern feel. In the meantime, we love preserving and showcasing its unique character.

Breathtaking views at Ocean Front
I stayed for 2 nights in the Blush cabin, and there is no better feeling than falling asleep listening to the waves wash onshore only 10 ft away - except maybe waking up to stunning oceanfront views in the morning!
Lowell Point is only a short 10 mins drive into Seward, but feels much more secluded and private. Great area to stay in, lots of hiking options, much less touristy than Seward.
The cabin has a small kitchenette so isn’t really suited for cooking, but Miller‘s Landing Cafe in easy walking distance has you well covered on food & drinks.
The cabin’s bathroom deserves a modernization/renovation, but I understand this is already planned for 2024.
I enjoyed my stay and would love to return in the future.
