Prefacing to say it will not let me type everything I have to say, so this is the summarized version, and to also add I have never left below a 5 star review. - Not a great part of town, but didn’t rly bother us too much…- Was told we’d receive check-in info 3 days prior, messaged twice (very kind and polite at that), but had to call VRBO directly before we got a response from host. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if our messages would’ve just been acknowledged. - Left over confetti everywhere (maybe Bach trip), upstairs bunk beds dirty, hot tub slimy, etc. - Smart-lock system old and scratched. Difficult to read numbers. Wouldn’t lock, only unlock. - A/C unit is messed up. Daughter had to sleep with us - upstairs was prob 80 or hotter. Was set to 69 when we got there, would stay around 73, shot up to 75 late evening/nights… making it uncomfortable to sleep. Checked the air filter, an inch of debris. Told the host. She sent out a cleaner. Changed nothing, it actually worsened. We were refunded 50 for the “inconvenience”… Cleaner also stated that we could “knock the air down to whatever we’d like… it’s 75 out, won’t freeze unit.” She set the A/C down to 64… we bumped it back up once she left to avoid damage to unit. The host did end up responding quickly once we were there. The place was decorated cute. The bathrooms were great. However, our experience was not what we hoped for or worth what we paid, despite it being cheaper than others.
