Not clean

There was mouse droppings every where. Nothing was clean. The bed, the dishes the table, everything had mouse poop. I will not be going back. I was happy to pull up to a beautiful little cabin but I did not think I had to clean the entire cabin the first day I got there there was mold all in the shower too. The vacuum woulfnt even vacuum it was clogged up we had to clean that.

Okay

It was okay, beautiful mountain view. But there was this big tree in the way. That could of been cut down so you can see it better. Um the place was not cleaned at all. We came from a 7 hr drive. And wanting to relax in a clean home. And didnt realize anything until the next day. Multiple issues that I will not bring up. But when you state that they are cleaning and prepping your room. Are they really?? Because they didnt with us.

The Dog Cabin

1. The good:Great view! The view off the porch of the mountains was beautiful. The cabin itself was cute and nicely designed. Plenty of privacy. 2. Neutral:The cabin is in a housing development of similar vacation homes. Various small things could use maintenance. Like doors etc. 3. The bad:Smelled like dogs. A lot. Even the HVAC system smelled like dogs when it blew air out. The check in process was irritating. I had to call so my booking didn't get cancelled bc the ID verification did not work. I noticed this upon arrival, via email, which was not ideal. The jacuzzi tub jets spit out water that had paticulates and floating stuff. Did not end up using.

Awesome Cabin!! BEAR STORY BELOW

This is an amazing place to vacation! We give it 5 stars! Here’s the pros and cons:Pros:- Beautiful view of the mountains- Hot tub on the deck with a mountain view- Central AC!- Dog friendly!- Very, very clean!- Full kitchen- Laundry soap, dish soap, bathroom/shower soaps and towels provided (it was sooo nice to have laundry on site)Cons (but would not keep us from booking again):- No campfire area :( - No yard space for dogs- Up a very steep and windy road, but needed to get that Mountain View!- Bed is VERY hard! Some people like that, some don’t. Bring a pad or blankets to make it softer and that will help a lot. - No can opener or coffee filters- You might want to bring an extension cord for easier access to outletsSo the BEAR story…. I was sitting in the hot tub one evening at dusk. I had heard something below in the bushes that sounded large. About a half hour later, I see a truck with the passenger door open and what appeared to be someone going in and out of the truck unloading (it was dark out remember!!). I thought it was a new neighbor so didn’t think much of it. I heard plastic crinkling and the dome light was on. That’s when it dawned on me. That’s OUR truck and we aren’t out there! I jumped out and went to the edge of the deck to look. Before long, we could see a HUGE black bear inside the cab of our truck! He didn’t leave the truck for 45 mins until the sheriff arrived to help. Minimal damage, thank God! LOCK YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES!!!

BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE AT A LOW PRICE

It was a great experience. Super quiet, little care packages of amenities. You never have to leave the cabin if you don’t want to as everything is there besides food. We didn’t spend much time there as we spent lots of time exploring the state, but it felt like home when we got back late at night.

A truly majestic view

The property surpassed expectations. When I booked I wasn’t sure exactly where my cabin would be. We lucked out and were nestled near the top of the ridge overlooking the valley. The hot tub on the deck was an added bonus to the amazing sunsets. The drive up and down is not for the faint but it was worth every penny

Our short getaway

It was a narrow steep winding road to reach the top to our destination but the cabin was cozy & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our brief stay. A bear visited & left paw prints on our vehicle.

Nice little space

Loved it. Cute, plenty room for a couple. Only down fall was the parking. The issue was with others in the adjoining cabin. It was stated on both rentals about it being shared. Some people don’t realize it read what they need too. Will be back again.

Absolutely loved it

This is the cutest little cabin. My stepdaughter and I stayed there and we didn't want to leave. She just wrapped up a semester of college so we wanted to get away for a couple days to see Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was so easy to check in and find. It does sit behind a bigger cabin, but there are blinds hung on the deck so no one can see you in the hot tub. You can see on the other deck more than they can see you. There was privacy. The only thing I did not like was the bed. I have a very bad back and it has like a pillow top on it to make it super soft. It would be very comfortable for anyone else, me personally, I need a more firm bed. Even still, that wouldn't stop me from staying again.
