Just an average cabin
This cabin was cute and had a good location. However the driveway was terrible and needs to be fixed before someone's car gets damaged. We built our own ramps to be able to get in and out of the driveway without damage to our large SUV. A small car or a small SUV would have a lot more trouble getting in and out of the driveway. I thought it was just large potholes from the reviews I read but that is not the case. They have poured a large concrete pad off of the road to turn into but it stops far from the house and the concrete just drops off at least a foot or two when it changes terrains to get to park closer to the house to unload your stuff. It should also be noted that this is not a luxury cabin... sheets on the beds are cheap /thin and there is only one towel per guest and towels are cheap as well. There are no extra towels for the hot tub or even to wrap your hair in a towel. There are no bath mats or extra hand towels to step-out of the bath tub either. None of these are deal breakers but it takes away from a luxury getaway and seems like it would be a easy way to help your guest feel more at home. I did ask about getting two extra towels since the house says it will sleep 8 and we only had 6 guest but I was told that only one towel per guest was policy.Location was good and if you do decide to stay in the area Elvira's cafe was a pleasant gem to try. Food was delicious and it was a nice walk down the street.
