The room was clean. You had to keep the room heater up high so the room wouldn’t get cold. They advertised they had breakfast - they didn’t. The room had no lamps so if you are used to getting up several times during the night-take flashlights with you. I would stay there again because the rates were affordable. I know what to expect now.

No glasses to brush teeth. Only two lights-one by front door and one in bathroom. No clock so totally dark in room even when light outside. The plugs are useless as they fall out if any weight is on them. The only one that would hold my charger was in the bathroom.

Controls for heat were on out of reach. Unit was in wall at back of room too high to reach. Had to pull night stand over to unit and climb up to turn heat on. Room was not as pictured. Much older and worn.

Room was clean. Chair upholstery was torn all the way across the seat. It should be discarded. Pavement around the property, especially to and from the street, is in TERRIBLE condition. Horrible, jarring bumps. HVAC unit is up very high on the wall and very hard to reach and see. It was OFF but should have not been.

Rooms are clean and offer the essentials. Owners and employees were friendly and helpful. This is a no frills but comfortable place to stay. The bed was comfortable, desk functional, plenty of hot water with good pressure int he shower, and a convenient microwave and fridge. There was no in room coffee pit but Hardee’s is less than 1/2 mile away. I felt completely safe to stay here after my husband had to return home on the second day of our 5 day stay. We travel often both in country and abroad and have stayed at world class resorts and hotels. This hotel provides all the basic essentials of a comfortable night sleep in a clean and safe location. I would stay here again.

This was the worst stay I've ever had anywhere. I stayed a total of one week. I got to the front desk and they told me not to book on Expedia because they would make it cheaper. So at first they was nice then they took our deposit and put us in a room. We stayed two nights and decided to stay for two more. I showed them where it coast less on Expedia and then they told us they needed to paint the room. So they made us move to a much smaller room the AC barely worked the next day come to check out they would not give us our deposit back they charged us $ 2.00 for each trash bag we used . I've never in my life have experience this . This is the worst place I've ever stayed . The male and female at the front desk they are the owners. They are the worst people I have ever meet Very unprofessional. I don't see how they stay in business...... I still can't get over how they treated us. Bad Bad Bad people .....

Great Simple Stay

This hotel was a great economical choice for a trip to Searcy, AR. The rooms are simple but very clean. It was quiet, and the proprietors are very friendly. It made up for the lack of amenities in peace and quiet, cleanness, and its close proximity to everything.
