Our stay at The Fox Den near Raystown Lake was excellent. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and cozy bedrooms. The hosts were professional and responsive, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend this property and would gladly return.

Beautiful Home!

We enjoyed this home during a long and rainy weekend! Every room was beautifully decorated and conveniently organized. We cooked a couple meals in the bright kitchen - absolutely everything you need is there! The fire pit area was lovely, and we were lucky enough to use it upon our arrival between the raindrops! Wood and lighter supplied, as well as additional chairs. Close to great hiking and, of course, Raystown Lake. Very comfortable beds, and throw blankets available in the living room to use while watching TV. Books and games available, as well as a nice selection of K-cups and teas. So many nice and thoughtful touches! My only negative is that the house is right off a pretty busy road, but it really wasn't a problem. Our four-legged family member made herself right at home! The host responded quickly to any questions, and even made recommendations for rainy day activities. There is also a wonderful ice cream/burger stand nearby that exceeded our expectations, and a coffee shop downtown that was cozy and yummy!! Grocery store very close and convenient. We can't wait to return!! Definitely recommend this rental!!

It was all about a good location for us but…

We were pleasantly surprised with this mix of original and modern updated cabin! It is well maintained, fully stocked with extra added touches and nicely decorated rooms. It has that “home way from home” feel and very cozy. Nestled between my sons wedding location and reception it was the perfect location. Our hosts were awesome too, very prompt in getting back to me or answering emails! We definitely recommend The Fox Den!

Wonderful experience!

We had an amazing stay at The Fox Den! The cabin was beautifully decorated and immaculate. It was very comfy and had plenty of room to gather together and hang out, both inside and outside. We enjoyed walking on the trail behind the house and having a fire in the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. Excellent communication with the host. Highly recommend!!

A home away from home!

We had the best time at the Fox Den! The house is very clean and has everything we could imagine - sharp knives, hooks for dog leashes, doggie poop bags, throw blankets, etc. So many little touches that made our stay so enjoyable. The towels were nice and plentiful and the water pressure is great! We took advantage of all the outdoor space and firewood that was provided. Janine and Glenn were so accomodating and responsive. Will definitely return to the Fox Den!

Wonderful!

This is a beautiful property inside and out! Enjoyed our stay and had everything and more to feel just like home. The hosts are very attentive and responsive to anything you need during your stay. Our dog had plenty of room to run around and play outside and our family and friends felt the comfort at home with all of the little extras the hosts provide. Definitely can’t wait to visit again.

Top Best Vacation Stays Fox Den

I was overly impressed with my stay at the Fox Den’s! Janine the host was very helpful! We enjoyed staying at the Fox Den! Well furnished, applied all accommodation of items available to make our stay comfortable! The hiking trail behind the house is perfect for a morning stroll, enjoyed it, and very peaceful. Clean and Convenient for Boaters

We really enjoyed our stay at Fox Den! The property was clean and updated, and we were easily able to park our boat. The location was perfect for launching at Weaver Falls on Raystown Lake.

Great Experience

As a halfway point between Pittsburgh and Oxford, PA The Fox Den hit the nail on the head. For a family of 8 plus 1 and our Pup we could not have asked for better accommodations. The Fox Den was extremely comfortable with plenty of room The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Janine and Glenn were readily available to answer all of our questions. They also provided plenty of information about things to do in and around The Fox Den. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space. Nightly campfires, walks to the creek behind the property, and competitive games of “ tree ring toss” were some of the highlights of our stay at The Fox Den. We had a great long weekend and are planning on visiting for a week in the near future.

Perfect!!

The Fox Den met all my expectations AND MORE!! I am very particular about staying anywhere besides my home, in fact, I usually have a hard time enjoying it but Janine and Glen have outdone themselves with every little detail! It's beautifully decorated, cozy, very clean, kitchen is fully stocked, etc. Thank you for such an awesome break from reality!!!
