This was perhaps the best stay I've had in a long time even in spite of personal challenges I had visiting Savannah. Beth Godley is a wonderful host. I had a medical emergency during my vacation where I needed help and she was not only understanding but so helpful during my stay even though I was a complete stranger to her. The manor and room itself was so clean, comfortable, cozy and beautiful! The bed was super comfortable and the room was cozy. It was so much better than a hotel stay and I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience that historic manor feel opposed to a modern hotel.

The Godley Manor is a lovely, down-to-earth, comfortable choice in the historic district. We loved the included parking and convenience to everything Savannah offers. The staff were all terrific, and you could tell they really care about the place. We had wonderful chats with our fellow guests at the continental breakfast, which was tasty and sufficient. This is not a stuffy five star inn, but for our needs and wants, that was one of its biggest charms!

Beautiful place. Very clean. Big rooms. Beautiful bedrooms & bathroom's. Lots of choices for breakfast all kinds of muffins , cereal. Fruit. Very Sweet people ! It was very sweet of yall to put extra coffee in our room Had a wonderful time so close to everything we wanted to see. The beautiful Forsyth park is just right out the door about 5 min walk. We plan on coming back.
