The home was bigger than expected, and the concave high ceiling in the living room gave us a great deal of spaciousness. Plus, the owner provided literally dozens of simple amenities, such as dozens of teas, shampoo & conditioner, easily accessible plug outlets, etc., and handy little notes, such as where the extra towels were located, all there to make our stay easy and enjoyable.
The home was very clean, and I got a big brownie point from my wife for picking out such an immaculately clean place.
My oldest son, my wife and I stayed there for an extended weekend, and we all agreed how comfortable the mattresses were to sleep on, and just how relaxing the home was to stay at.
We did not know the owner, yet we could just tell how thoughtful he is by the way he has the place set up.
The place is a vintage home, yet the owner appears to be updating it throughout for today's living and comfort needs. The kitchen has new and updated appliances and counters, yet also has that quaint feel as the cabinets are probably old, yet in great shape. You can feel the warmth and charm of this "old house" after a makeover.
We picked the place because of proximity (to family that live nearby), and the place turned out to be a great find. We are very appreciative of the place and the owner, and encourage anyone needing a great place to stay to consider this place.
