Husband and I decided to visit San Diego last minute and after researching the downtown area decided the location of ES fit us perfectly. Short walk from the 992 bus stop to and from the airport. We booked through Expedia and selected a King Corner Suite. We had a wonderful view of the Harbor and will miss waking up to that in the am. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the nightly reception, bartenders were so friendly. Breakfast ran like a well oiled machine and food selection was wonderful. We were able to use our resort fee at the on-site restaurant and gift shop. The pizza at The restaurant was very good and the staff was excellent-thank you Chris! Gift shop attendant very helpful in helping us as well. This ES was the best one we have stayed at in a very long time. The location is a perfect for Seaport Village, walking to the Gaslamp District, Midway, and we even walked to Little Italy. Will definitely stay here again!

I’m giving this place 3 stars mainly because of the breakfast issue. We were told that breakfast was served until 10:00 AM, but when we arrived at the lobby at 9:15, everything had already been cleared away. I paid for breakfast but didn’t get to eat, and no one even apologized for the inconvenience. Another concern was the parking fee — charging $70 for parking is simply too expensive and didn’t feel reasonable

The room was clean and comfortable. The view and location were great. Breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast with made-to-order omelette station. Short walk to the trolly.

Everything was good.. parking was expensive but it’s downtown. It was the typical Embassy suites stay. Clean and free breakfast.

The hotel went beyond my expectations. We have a six year old and she loved the room and stay. The location was great and the hotel was family friendly. We had a great time. The room was perfect. The pool was warm and very clean and we enjoyed our time. The breakfast was great as well and very convenient.
