The lady on the nite shift in the office gave me a hard time about my guest getting a parking permit.my granddaughter drove 2 hours to stay the nite the nite staff lady told us the garage was full . Oi said how long has it been full she lied and said 3 hours she finallygave us the parking permit and the garage was not full. I asked does the resort half roll away beds she replied yes but you dont need it theres a bedroom and couch bed i felt she should have gave it to me regardless.she ask for my address i said i did allbthe paper earlyer that day you should know my onfo. She replied sense i booked with expedia they dont give them the address. I felt very upset with her after having a beautiful day. My grandaughter drove 2 hours and the staff member tells us the garages were full when clearly they werent. I probably wont recommend this hotel all though i loved how beautiful it was.

I booked a room in October 2025 for a 4 night stay in early December 2025. In the afternoon of my arrival while I was in transit they informed me that that they could no longer honor my booking. They would not give me a reason and i had to enlist Expedia to get the answer from the Company "Grand Pacific Resorts" who manage the property and confirmed to Expedia they had double booked. While in I was travelling to the Hotel and they were informing me they could not honor the booking they offered me a room at their other property San Clemente Inn claiming it was like for like as good and beautiful . IT ABSOLUTLEY NOT. It was a motel type of establishment which sits right on the I5 freeway (not on the beach like San Clemente Cove!) There own cancellation policy says that if i had cancelled in less than 48 hours I would forfeit the total cost of the booking. Initially they only offered me $135 dollars. and it was only after many calls and complains that they refunded 95% of my cost. This review bears no reflection on the staff who were working at San Clemente Cove who were very sympathetic, but is directed at the poor experience from the Management company Grand Pacific Resorts.

We Loved it so much, the location is top notch with an incredible beach front view, walk able to the beach and pier, food cofre and even has the trolley stop right in front. the room was very spacious and we look forward to coming back with our girls.
