The property could benefit from updates of furnishings, one of the bathrooms, cabinetry, etc. The location is excellent and the view of the ocean and pier about as good as one can get in the area

laid back vacation stay

Just what we wanted - close to the San Clemente Pier with gorgeous view from the deck and easy access to everything we wanted. Owner very personable, not a sterile, bland hotel-like environment.

The location of the property cannot get any better especially for people who cannot drive like myself being 5 mins walk away from the beach and 10 mins walk away from the main shopping area. It’s a comfortable apartment with panoramic views. The check-in was super easy and the host Jerry was very friendly and responsive.

The view was absolutely amazing and honestly the main reason I would consider staying here again. Waking up to that scenery made the trip really special.Unfortunately, there were several issues with the property itself. The place was not very clean upon arrival, which was disappointing. There also wasn’t a kitchen towel in the kitchen, which would have been helpful. In addition, the listing was inaccurate in a few ways — the posting and pictures showed a twin bed, but there was no twin bed at the property. The listing also advertised a fireplace, but there was no fireplace either.Overall, the view saved the experience, but I do think the listing details and cleanliness need improvement so future guests know exactly what to expect.

Top of the World

The balcony overlooking the town and the ocean was the star of our stay! Apartment was spacious and clean. We appreciated the fresh flowers! Great location. Easy to walk to the Pier and the beach. Would stay there again.

Excellent Location and amazing views. Some minor design flaws in the master bedroom. Our family had an amazing time in the area and this was a great, affordable meeting place.

The place was in a great location with an spectacular view. However, it was very dirty upon arrival. We found food and plates under the couches in the living room, and the toilet was extremely dirty. It honestly didn’t look like the place had been cleaned before we checked in. The location and view were great, but the cleanliness definitely needs major improvement.

We had a lovely relaxing few days at the Top of the World “Palm”. Should have added another few days. Will definitely be back ! Thank you Jerry, for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Breathtaking View

The place is nice clean and spacious. You can’t beat the view. We walked down to the beach in minutes and they had amazing shops and eatery places. There is a train that goes by the beach here and there. Our kids loved it. Again, the view is unbeatable.

Beach house

View was spectacular as well as the location. There were ants in the kitchen and in the master bedroom. Never able to get the TV to work, other than Netflix. Had fun any way!

Old unit in dire need of professional upgrades and repairs including cabinets, furniture , bathrooms and flooring.Microwave , oven and the inside of all cabinets were smelly and dirty. TV in main bedroom not connected, no heating or air conditioning except for small electric heater for the whole unit. We were so cold. Unit located on top of a steep hill no suitable for seniors. We did not enjoy our stay
