Heater and refrigerator were extremely loud. Our stay was during the icey storm weekend days in San Antonio and RN my wife had to work at the hospital next morning so we got a room here instead of driving w/ ice on the road. We noticed around midnight that both heater and fridge were loud. They hindered our rest which was the whole point of us buying a night here. Management never got back to me on this either. Customer service isn’t there.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were polite and helpful. The weekend breakfast chef was gracious and the eggs were scrambled perfectly. However, the weekday breakfast cook (who wore his shoulder length hair down the entire first week of my stay) micromanaged my movements, curtly correcting me if I didn't adhere to his protocol while I filled my plate and even accused me of using the yogurt machine incorrectly, which I did not. This continued throughout my stay, and the environment became increasingly more hostile until this morning when he told me to use tongs to grab my own piece of bread to toast it. He also shouted at me to "have manners" as he stalked away into the lobby area. I have now canceled the four day extension of my stay at this beautiful property. What a shame.

Room. We had to leave. We arrived to the room and overall it looked cleaned. We spend a bit of time at the end of the bed. As we moved toward the top of the bed we became thirsty and I went to get the bottles of water we had brought with us. When I went to lay on the bed I noticed a stain almost under the pillows. It was a red stain. It looked like blood (I took picture). I know we had not reached that high part of the bed but just in case I continued to look at the stain and realized it was dry. I touched it and it was dry. So the stain was there from who knows who. If it was washed it should not have been put back- if it wasn’t washed that’s disgusting. We called to tell the lobby gentleman and he just very relaxed said he can have someone asked for someone to remove change sheet. At that point it was already a hygiene issue.
