A good stay at the Cornerstones Guest House

A very good stay, the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was clean and had natural ventilation, the bed was comfortable. The guest house was close to the centre of Sale and was easy to get to the bars and restaurants. We would recommend staying there and if we come back to Sale we would stay here again

A very strange place. It has been taken over so all the good reviews are from the previous owners. It was clean but there were stains on the carpet and cobwebs on the strange hanging ornament. The heating did not work properly so the room was cold ( I had a sleeping bag otherwise I would not have slept). On entry, after self check in, the porch light did not work and there was mail on the side. All the rooms go off a central corridor with no windows so as a lone female traveller this accommodation did not feel safe.

This hotel is not as advertised!!! It ia disgusting unhygenic and a health and safety risk. There was staims on both lots of bedding and a boiled sweet of some sort stick to one. Stains on both carpets and a dried spillage of some sort on one bedroom windowsill. There was hole in the wall in tne bedroom. Not to mention the dust and grime everywnere. We jad to sleep fully clothed and if it was not for getting back late we would of checked in elsewhere. I will be reuesting a full refund.
