Boulderbelle Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the Boulderbelle Retreat. My sisters and I loved the house and the grounds. The house had a lot of nice touches and it showed that a lot of thought went into making it a comfortable stay for guests. I especially loved all the birds! We are already thinking about when we can come again.

A home away from home

It was an amazing comfortable, welcoming home with everything you could possibly need. We definitely recommend this beautiful home and we will definitely stay here again. We would love to take another trip north with friends and stay here.Hot tub was great kids loved it. Next time we will definitely book a longer stay to hopefully get to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub more. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need from spices to crockpots. Awesome. Thank you for great memories.

Lovely getaway

Great property for a larger group. The house is very clean and owner is very prompt in communication. Beautiful, quiet location. The girls loved the hot tub. Would deficiently recommend!

Superhost Alert!!

We had an incredible time at this cabin. It was very clean and the rooms/beds were all very nice and comfortable. There were plenty of towels for the hot tub and showers & Kate had great toiletry options! Kate was very accommodating to our requests and was very responsive when we had any questions. 10/10! Will definitely be booking here again!

Lovely property and super responsive hosts

The kitchen was easy to work in and very well-equipped. The high top table by the kitchen was great for prep and quick bites while the larger dining room table was very comfortable for meals and board games. The bathrooms were super clean and the laundry room had a modern and large washer and dryer. Sitting around the fire pit and night you could see the stars and woods but it was far enough from trees and leaves to feel very safe having a fire. The citronella candles were a welcome touch. It was comfortable and quiet yet close to Hermantown amenities. Any questions or problems that arose were IMMEDIATELY taken care of. Thank you so much for that.

Family Vacation!

We could not have been happier with our stay. Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property host was great at checking in, and readily available. Most of all we loved the hot tub and fire pit area!

Awesome home in the wilderness

We stayed here for a wedding at Black Ivy. Very convenient location, close to the event center and downtown Duluth. The house was very clean, spacious, very well stocked, coffee bar was awesome, firepit, hot tub. Everything was great.

Saginaw paradise stay

Our stay was fabulous. This property was everything as advertised and more. The host was responsive and provided the little touches that make a difference in a stay. From the generous supply of the essentials, the awesome hottub right down, our stay was wonderful!! We wish we could have stay longer! to the appreciated basket of little welcome goodies

Good for families

Great getaway

Stayed here with family and friends before my wedding! Was a great place to hang and enjoy with a larger group. Felt like a home. Very clean and tidy. Location was nicely tucked away but still easy to get to places.

A wonderful wedding weekend location

We stayed at Kate & Ryans home for a family wedding weekend. The location was ideal for us. Close to the wedding venue and to Duluth. The home was large, spacious, cozy and inviting. I appreciated how clean it was. The large bedrooms and bathrooms allowed us plenty of space for my family. We really loved the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living area -allowing the adults and grandchildren space to visit and play. Kate was very kind with her communications and feedback. Thank you Kate and Ryan for the oppertunity to stay at your lovely Boulderbelle Retreat. We would love to come back and enjoy your home and all that the North Shore has to offer.

Perfect family getaway

Hosts thought of every detail to make their home feel like ours from the minute we booked our reservation. The home was very clean, nicely updated, thoughtfully stocked and well organized. The size and layout accommodated our family perfectly. The Home is conveniently located to stores yet peacefully remote as well. Christmas at Boulderbelle

Very clean & comfortable for our party of 9 to celebrate Christmas together near Duluth 🎄. The house and amenities were above our expectations. Everything was well stocked for us to prepare meals together. The floor plan was perfect for us to be together while still having our own space. And its an easy drive into Duluth to enjoy the attractions. We loved our stay and are already discussing a return trip!

Great place!

My family had a great stay celebrating my mom's 70th birthday. The open floorplan was great for our family to be together while still having our own space. Everything was clean and the kitchen had what we needed to enjoy a few meals together.

Wedding Weekend

This house is a great location to Ivy Black Venue. It is very clean and the bathrooms and kitchen are well stocked. All bedrooms are good sized and beds are comfortable. We would differently stay here again when in the area.

Great place to stay!

Totally enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room for a large family! Had almost everything we needed. Loved the large area with firepit and several chairs for enjoying the fire. Large yard for the children to run around. Picnic table in the back with a grill. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful Oasis Just Outside the City

Amazing stay! Boulderbelle Retreat was perfect for our party of 8. We were celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday and wanted enough room for all of us to spread out while still being close to downtown Duluth and the Shore. This is a difficult ask in Duluth in the summer but Boulderbelle was it! Well stocked with everything for 3 days of entertaining. Great outdoor spaces and the hot tub and fireplace were a huge plus. Easy access to food/drink/groceries, etc. Kate’s communication was fantastic. Highly recommended hidden gem!

Family weekend

I brought our children and grandchildren to Duluth for a long weekend. We had a great time, exploring the area and all of the tourist sites but we also enjoyed our time at Boulderbelle. The house was great. All we could’ve asked for the grandchildren loved the hot tub and so did the adults. It was fun to have the outside area to use. I definitely give this an A+ rating everything was great thank you.
