"The staff were all great. The breakfast was nice. I have just a couple of suggestions. The stairwells were a bit dark, especially at night or when coming in out of the bright sun in the daytime. For safety, couldn’t they be better illuminated?Also, the alarm clock in our room was defective. We did not plan to use it, but we noted that the alarm was switched off. Nonetheless, the alarm sounded at midnight on our first night there. Just to be safe, I set the alarm for 3 PM and made sure the alarm was still switched off. When we got back on our second day, the alarm was blaring. I notified the staff and they said they would take care of it. i’m sure that’s a one off problem. Location was great and we really enjoyed being able to borrow bicycles to ride down the riverfront path for a couple hours."
