The rooms and property were fantastic, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful and the food was delicious, great service! The only difficulty was finding parking for our rental vehicle but that is true for every hotel near the beach. It’s on the outer edge of Rethymno, making the location less crowded than the old town streets near the port. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the port from the hotel, but we didn’t mind the walk. We would absolutely book here again.

My wife and I stayed here for our elopement/honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Our room was the Suite, Sea View (Split Level) and it was lovely. Spacious bed, plenty of space in the room, and comfy furniture. The staff was phenomenal! The cleaning staff was always prompt and detail oriented. The reception crew was knowledgeable, insightful, and wonderfully friendly. The private beach itself was perfect. It was quiet and away from the other resorts/hotels on the beach that it really did feel like a private location. We will be booking here again when we make it back to Rethymno.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The staff were extremely attentive and made a conscious effort to get to know us, especially Kostas(?) (and our coffee orders!). The breakfast spread was wide and varied each day and is run smoothly, self served and on the glorious terrace overlooking the sea. Our side view room had everything we needed and the addition of the terrace overlooking the restaurant and ocean was perfect. Having access to the beach was a particular highlight for us, with sun loungers and beach towels provided. We found the location of the hotel ideal, with a row of restaurants less than a 5 min walk away, as well as the restaurant at the hotel (which had exception food and cocktails!). Also a 20 min walk to the Old Town. Overall a perfect trip, would definitely come back!

Charming property and one of the best parts is the view which is just spectacular, you can’t get any closer to the sea! The room and breakfast were nice and we had one meal in the restaurant which was lovely and had a great atmosphere. Wonderful oceanfront hotel, with a decent restaurant and fantastic breakfast. Spacious and very comfortable rooms with high ceilings and loft bedrooms. We had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight, so the staff packed us a nice breakfast the night before and left it in the mini fridge in our room for us. If you have a rental car, there is no parking at the hotel but there is a free lot a short walk up the road that the staff will direct you to.

The 2nd floor room was excellent. The view, the peace, the cleanliness, simply a dream. It should have a larger closet, if you're staying for 2 weeks, the current one isn't enough for 2 people. The staff was very helpful and nice, as was the restaurant staff. The seafood was excellently prepared, I have never had better seafood anywhere in Crete. If we go to Crete again, we will definitely stay in the same hotel.

The reviews don’t lie, great property and friendly hospitable staff. Especially loved the peace and quiet and being able to relax with a glass of wine on the balcony while listening to the sound of the sea and enjoying its breeze. Small boutique hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of old town with a private beach. Great restaurants within walking distance Prima Plora and their own Thalassa Seafood restaurant. My room was comfortable, but the bedroom area was a little warm. I’m sure they would’ve adjusted the temperatures if I had asked. As a female traveling alone I felt safe. Will be back!

Very unsafe location. We had unloaded the luggage on the busy street and carried the luggage up and down the stairs. No staff to help. The receptionist was rude and unpleasant. Loud noises from busy street and the swimming pool is size of hot tub.

Sea view split level suite was excellent. Very clean and the best views. Slight smell from drainage but didn't spoil the holiday. Hotel staff were amazing. Helpful and friendly. The restaurant was run separately so could not charge meals to room. Other restaurants nearby. Would recommend Cabo. Lovely views, food and staff. However, breakfast was included so no probs there. Enjoyed the varied buffet breakfast. Pool is small and on the roadside so noisy at times. Small beach area for the hotel but we had a lovely patio outside the room. 20 minute walk into the Old Town along a very busy, noisy main road.
