Came to a beautiful home with a fantastic view of the golf course and nothing was cleaned sheets on the bed rolled up, comforter pillows, all tossed in the closet and a big lump look like the toaster was just poured out on the kitchen floor. It was really bad. I usually get to deal with the owners in this case they use a management company, which I do not prefer.
This is what we walked into
Towels were not washed or dried. So we had to clean the house before we could even settle in was here for a wedding weekend and not exactly what we planned upon arriving.

Holiday Get Away

Home had not been dusted or swept. Although the view was beautiful, when the sun came in it showed the neglect of the housekeeping. Also, the dishwasher was not working. Very disappointing for a holiday getaway. The property was nice, but the management company is lacking in their attention to housekeeping.

Family Vacation

Great place to stay if you don't mind a pet-friendly home! Location and layout are great - similar to all the condos around the resort. We've been coming to Eagle Crest annually as a family for 2 decades. This location was great, but the fact this is a pet friendly location is something to keep in mind. There was pet hair on the floor, on blankets, and on the shelves. The condo had been cleaned prior to our arrival, but pet hair and dander lingered in corners and under the beds. If we had pets, I likely wouldn't have minded, but we don't have pets. So I found this frustrating was we had an infant and toddler with us and I was cleaning the floors the first day.

Terrible communication with host

I'll start with the space itself although the bulk of my review is about the overall booking experience. It is a nice house in a nice area of eagle crest. It was nicely furnished and appointed and very clean and tidy. My only criticism is that if you are planning to do any cooking at the house, there is literally no where to keep any of your items (food, etc.). Every single drawer and cabinet was full of stuff, so we ended up having to keep everything in the grocery bags/boxes that we brought. That was kind of the theme throughout the house - there was so much "staging" and chatchkes that there was hardly anywhere to put any personal items, like a laptop or book. We ended up taking a picture of everything in place, moving it all into a corner or shelf out of the way to make room for our things and then putting it all back before we left. As a vacation rental host myself, i know it can be a difficult line to tread between maintaining the comfort of a space for yourself and making it inviting to guests, but in this case, just a single kitchen cabinet to be able to put our snacks and food away into and few places to be able to set down a few things other than on the floor would have made the stay way more comfortable. On to the actual booking experience: I get that this is a listing by vacasa on vrbo, but they do really need to supply a much clearer idea of how to communicate with them other than just stating that. After multiple messages and questions went unanswered through vrbo, finally realized that communication with the host would only be through vacasa, which means you have to make a profile with them and basically use the app to communicate with them (which was also kind of spotty) or call their 800 number and wait on hold forever to talk with someone overseas. In the future, i will not ever book a vacasa rental through air b and b, and probably not even through vacasa as their reps seem really clueless about the details of the actual property. Pretty frustrating when there is no one who has actually been the property who can answer questions.

Lovely view of golf course

We have stayed at other properties at Eagle Crest. This property by far has the best view of the golf course and golfers. The kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub is fabulous. The main suite bathroom is amazing, but not private from the sleeping area. Having a garage for our car and golf clubs to be secure was very handy. Would definitely consider another stay in this home.
