I want to start off by saying Darwin and Yeleisy are amazing! They greeted us like family, they played with our 1 year old, it was kindness that was genuine. The drinks we were served while registering for our room were absolutely delicious. I would give that dynamic duo 5 stars for their energy kindness & efficiency getting us to our room. - The Room was gorgeous, spacious& in a building that was very convenient to get to the children’s activities. It did have an old smell to it but I never saw mold or old wood. The balcony was a nice touch. -amenities The pools were nice, we were there for a short time. They do have a lazy river but it’s not for smaller kids. The playground was great because even with the heat (high 80s). THE BAD: The buffet during our stay wasn’t great, we had hard waffles and pancakes every day. It wasn’t a 1 off thing. Some spoons from other dishes were placed in other trays so the food didn’t taste as fresh. Other dishes were missing a labels which is frustrating when you or family travelling have food allergies. Steak was a hit or miss at the restaurant, rice was crunchy even with the bean sauce on it. Some staff put their all in trying to service you which was nice. But it wasn’t always consistent. We called Housekeeping 2x (around 9p) and then concierge to ask for a change of sheets explaining that our toddler had an accident on our bed. 10pm turned into midnight by 1:30am I fell asleep with fully pissed through sheets because no one ever came

Eso fue un desorden total. Una experiencia horrible. Hice todo lo posible, a pesar de todos los malos momentos en este resort, para que mi familia pudiera disfrutar el viaje. Pero no quiero que nadie más pierda su dinero como nosotros. Esto fue un robo. El check-in fue caótico e inexacto. Nos tomó horas registrarnos para poder ir a nuestras habitaciones. Después de semanas organizando todo y de que me aseguraran que las habitaciones y reservaciones estaban listas, nos entregaron habitaciones en edificios distintos y reservaciones en restaurantes separadas. Mi hijo, mis padres y mi tía terminaron en áreas completamente diferentes, cuando habíamos reservado habitaciones swim-up precisamente para estar juntos y compartir en familia. No pudimos cenar juntos ni disfrutar como planeábamos porque nos dijeron que “las reservaciones ya estaban hechas” y no podían modificarlas. Total falta de organización y consideración. El tema del alcohol y las bebidas fue indignante. Los refrescos estaban sin gas y el propio personal admitió que compraban productos cerca de su fecha de vencimiento para conseguirlos más baratos. También confesaron que el alcohol estaba diluido y que las cervezas “Presidente” no eran realmente Presidente. Eso es engañar al cliente. La comida fue otra gran decepción, además de insalubre. Los panes y donas estaban duros como piedra. En una ocasión me sirvieron una hamburguesa con papas fritas que estaban rancias y húmedas. Mi suegra y yo nos enfermamos grave.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was always in perfect condition, clean and well-supplied. Carlos, our butler, was always available daily and checked in with us regularly. He was very helpful and we appreciated his assistance. Adonis, our concierge, was our initial contact after booking. He provided us with all the information we needed at the time and assisted with restaurant reservations and Carlos as well. We appreciate all their help. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return in November.

Cockroach came up through our drain into our room. Lots of locals trying to sell you stuff all day at the beach. Food was ok, very salty. Restaurants weren’t great except we enjoyed the Brazilian and the Oceanside dinner. Had great service from all the staff we interacted with.
