What a pitty at the end of my stay

All was ok, till the check out, I forger my Ipod over the bed when I wal livin the room, I claim for it the same day , and 3 more time without a respond. Take care with you belongings

This is a very nice property. It is not luxurious, but well-maintained. Suite was spacious and comfortable. Amenities are not abundant and in good shape. For a budget oriented traveler, I would recommend it.

Other than the shower not staying hot for longer than 5 minutes, and AC not getting cool enough, it was fantastic. Hemingways was good and nice to have multiple pools right on the property!

The property was pretty nice, the rooms were in need of a little updating, but overall served its purpose. The staff was friendly and somewhat helpful. This was our first time in Turks so we are not sure how it compares to others. We were expecting a little more for the price we paid compared to other islands we visited. We were a family of 6 and booked two rooms a 1 bedroom w/ a full kitchen and a junior suite with just a mini fridge and sink. The junior suite had an issue with the AC upon arrival, so a few of my kids were in limbo for the first 2 days, but were put into a 3rd(top) floor ocean front suite until they were able to get them another room. They enjoyed making TikTok’s on the huge balcony! We should have just not left that room, but they insisted that an “owner” had booked it and we had to leave it. So after that inconvenience my kids were able to settle in. The beach was absolutely beautiful which we tried to focus on most of the trip! If we ever decide to return to Turks we will definitely try another hotel, but this was probably a one and done destination… the prices are so ridiculous and really, the water is just as beautiful in most of the Caribbean!

It was our first time visiting Turks and Caicos, honestly one of the most beautiful beaches we have been to. The property was nice but a little outdated. We visited the sister properties which were much more modern and upgraded. However the beach and the service by the staff at the beach was phenomenal!! The guys were always helpful and friendly. The staff at the front was not as charismatic unfortunately. The property is a short walk away from a few restaurants and shops. I love that they offer excursions right off the beach, we didnt have to go anywhere, our snorkeling boat came right up to the shore to get us. Overall i recommend it if you are going with family and need the space , as the rooms were fully stocked apartments, however if going as a couple or with friends you may want to consider one of their sister properties.

My friends and family had an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel was peaceful and intimate. The staff were all very pleasant and supportive . Hats off to Meshell Especially .She was awesome. She made sure all our needs were met and made us feel at home. The rooms were very clean, and lastly, the ocean was breathtaking. It was the most beautiful I have ever seen. I would definitely revisit.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Sands at Grace Bay! The property was beautiful and very well maintained, our room was excellent with an amazing view, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant food was outstanding. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay here again! I like to send a special shout out and Kudos to the staff members Tolly at the activity towel center for looking out for use on booking excursion with parasailing escorting us to and from the boat Duce at the Hemenway restaurant his kindness smile and conversation was awesome Clara for her bubbly morning greeting at breakfast starts your day off Erin or Erica and Ms Lovely thank you all for your welcoming service at the Hemenway restaurant and the food and presentation was awesome

I was very impressed with the accommodations, having a microwave and refrigerator plus all the kitchen utensils was so helpful. Didn’t expect but totally appreciated having an in room washer/dryer as well. I didn’t realize how much that comes in handy! So much convenience for the money. Read previous reviews and was worried that the room would be dated but everything was beautifully updated and clean. Like others have said the construction next door at the St Regis is an issue but not as bad as the past, seems like they are further along at this point 05/2026. It does start at sunrise on Monday morning with slight hammering and machinery but I would do it again just to enjoy all that The Sands has to offer. The sound quickly blends in with the waves and the birds. One of the best beaches and not crowded like some of the all inclusive resorts down the way. I hope all of that doesn’t change when the St Regis opens. New Construction is going on all over the island so hard to find any resort that doesn’t have something huge being built next door. The weather was warm in the 80’s and humid so felt more like 90 with just a couple of rainy days in between which helped to cool things down. I would definitely return next year at the same time. I prefer less crowds and better price over perfect weather. Coming from CA we get enough of that. Crystal clear warm water, clean sand, amazing snorkeling, great food, friendly people and a relaxing island vibe is what I came for and received.

Our stay was fantastic. Room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly, helpful and entertaining. We had a great stay. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful location minus the towering construction going on next door. Excursions picked you up right on the beach at the resort. Shopping with dining options within five minutes walk. Expensive, but worth it for the location.

The Sands was a fine hotel but they fell short in several areas. Staff was generally unfriendly- specifically restaurant, store and front desk. There was an ant problem outside the room each night and we did find a few ants in our room. Room layout is awesome! Location also helpful. We like a resort feel and felt The Sands did a poor job of making guests feel pampered. Was very difficult to get beach service and when we did it arrived in a paper takeout bag. Also, there are very few game activities for teens.

This property was really nice. We will definitely stay there again next year. Compared to Seven Stars this place has a sleep sofa in the one bedroom. Hemingway's restaurant never disappoints. Staff was on point and so friendly. Close to downtown no need for expensive taxi.

The resort has become very family friendly recently, and filled with young families. Not the quiet resort it used to be.
