Loved our stay at Sierra Del Mar. Very comfortable beds and furniture. There were so many gadgets in the kitchen. Room for everyone to hangout together, or on their own. The pool was right out back, and the beach was just past that over the sand dunes. Great location for easy access to the beach. Two of the patios had mosquito netting, which was great, and the third balcony at the top was perfect for star gazing at night. St. Joseph State Park is just down the road if you want to go see a different beach with more waves. At the house the water was more calm although not as clear. The absolute best part is, that it's not crowded at all. We had so much room at the beach, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and play in the sand. We flew kites, had a beach puddle and still had plenty of room between us and the next family. There were even dolphins swiming near us the first day we arrive. All around loved our stay.

A new place

The house was well stocked and clean. The location to the beach was nice. The ocean at the house does have some sediment from river runoff in it that makes it dark. We ended up driving to a public beach access 15 minutes away on the Cape to set up and swim. Having the location on the beach was nice for walks with the dogs in the morning and in the evening. It was also cool to see horses on the beach. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great vacation

We had a wonderful vacation even with the double red flags all week. It was our first time staying in Port St Joe and we loved it. The beach was huge and not crowded at all. Glad we had a pool to play in since we couldn’t get in the ocean! Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect!!

This was EXACTLY what we needed! A quiet beach that was dog friendly (and I do mean FRIENDLY), quiet neighbors if any at all, a screened in porch with the perfect set up for dining and just relaxing, chairs and various beach items, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, laundry…it was perfect. The roof top deck was great for stargazing with clean, bug free chairs, the maintenance guy (Bill?) was a delight to speak with and was so helpful. It was my husband and I, our teenage son and small husky. Just PERFECT. We will absolutely be back!

Great spot

The SIRENA DEL MAR had literally everything we needed for this trip. I mean, the place even had an airfryer, which is a game changer for a rental property kitchen. The place was spotless and located in such a perfect spot. Can't wait to come visit again.

Peace and Quiet

If you’re looking for a spot away from crowds, this is it! The house is well appointed and just steps from the beautiful gulf. We had a wonderful few days, and will definitely be back!

Definitely Staying Again

This is house is in the perfect location- the cape is right around the corner, restaurants were within 15 min, and PCB is about an 1.5 hrs away. There weren’t a lot of people on the beach which made it so much nicer and it seemed to be all families. The pool is right outside your door also. We would definitely stay here again. It was nice that there were 4 beach chairs, a wagon, beach toys, beach umbrellas, and water hoses at the back door. This is not the house for you if you have knee issues or any other issue that inhibited you from climbing stairs. Thankfully this wasn’t an issue for us, but I could see how it could be for others.

Amazing place to stay with kids and a small dog

This was definitely a beautiful home. We loved the screened in porch and the pool right by the beach is a must for the kids. It is so easy to take a walk on the beach with the dog at night bc of the location of the hose. Easy to wash the dog off and dry him before coming into the house.

February Winter away from Chicago, IL

This house has been updated in a most pleasing decor and is very comfortable and cozy. I mostly stayed by myself with my dog. My family members came and stayed for a long week end. Totally accommodating to all of us. The house is well stocked. Plenty of updated bathrooms. The location is prime, right on the beach. We walked the beach every day several times. The property is located close to the Cape and Port St. Joe. It has three decks to enjoy the views of the gulf. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see a raised dog food and water bowl on a water proof matt for my dog. I was really happy the month I was there. It is a perfect get away house. Also, the property manager, Sunshine Properties was pleasant to work with. I needed some batteries changed and even a new water heater and it was all taken care of immediately. Overall, I give it the best rating it could have. And would go back.

Old Florida Peace & Serenity

The house is amazing, pictures are exact. Super clean and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need! Just bring your own shampoo. Plenty of room, a very spacious home. The beds are super comfy. The screens on the decks help keep the bugs out with amazing views and sounds of the sea. Be ready for the stairs. There are several sets. This is a community of 7 or so houses. Each house has a joining walkway that connect in front of this house. It’s in the center and goes directly to the gulf. The beach is not crowded at all, but you will see the horse tours at least 2X a day. Super cool. (Thanksgiving timeframe) Also, some drive their vehicles and golf carts on the beach. Not an issue, just a note. Oh, one other thing to note, there are biting bugs on the beach (bring bug spray) & watch out for the sand spurs that will get in between your pups paws. Painful, but you can pull them easily out. We had an excellent week in this home. I highly recommend for rest and to unwind.
