We were very pleased with our stay at Turtely Awesome! It was immaculate and still looked, felt, and smelled brand new. Waking up each morning to the ocean waves is something we'll miss!For the location, we felt it was still close enough to restaurants, a general store, etc., and perfect for solitude away from the beach's crowds. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog (her first time!) and have the beach so close, as well as amenities like an outdoor shower, gates on the patio exits, etc. We also loved how many different seating/lounge options there were on both patio levels.Our only complaint was that it is situated close to an RV park, plus a boat ramp and on-beach driving entrance, so it could seem busy sometimes with everyone entering/exiting past you on foot and in cars and golf carts. One morning, we were awoken at 7am with fishermen right outside our window who stayed most of the day, directly in front of the house's boardwalk so we had to go down some from the home for beach seating. I could see this potentially being an issue for some during a holiday when it is busier.Overall, we would highly recommend Turtley Awesome. We even looked at booking for the same time next year, but it seems there's a 7-nt min now unfortunately!

I had to put 4 stars for the accuracy of the description because I truly feel you are underselling the property. The picture of the access of the beach looks really far away, but in reality you literally just walk down two sets of stairs and you are stepping onto the beach. The description of the 2nd king bedroom should really say king suite. It is large with a beautiful private bathroom. The location of the property is fantastic. Very private, but also the few people we did see were all so very nice. Just a few houses down is a docking area where you can charter a boat to get to the island, or even charter it to go fishing. We did both and the fact that they were so convenient and close to the property made us feel very safe and comfortable. This was our son’s senior year spring break, how many kids can say they caught a hammerhead and a manta ray? We, him, and his buddies made memories that will last a lifetime.

We loved this property! Cleanliness was 10/10 and the view is stunning. I loved the decor and furniture was well placed and comfortable. My only suggestions would be to provide beach towels and maybe one more tv in the house would be nice. We would stay again.

Cleanliness of home. But when you first walk in you get jaw dropping tired of the sun, beach, pass and St Vincent Island. It doesn’t get much better than this. The home was very comfortable. Am planning another stay here.

We loved everything about this property. It was very clean and neat with beautiful views of St Vincent WMA and the ocean. We were thrilled with the dolphins and an eagle who visited every day. The kitchen was fully equipped and well planned with anything we could need. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the property. The place is secluded and peaceful, with great water views. There's a private deck to the water. The fishing was enjoyable, the cleaning station was a plus. The kitchen was well stocked. I loved the cookware. For the bedrooms, the upstairs deck was amazing, perfect for relaxing and reading. The children’s room was very cool. There were plenty of great touches ,unfortunately the bed downstairs was not very comfortable. The bathrooms have nice attributes, but not well stocked with towels and what we had were small and thin. Overall everything was nicely decorated and well kept with some great features. The host was very quick to communicate and we had no issues. Awesome Stay!

We were on a family vacation, and one of the reasons I chose Turtlely Awesome was because it was pet friendly & Britney was kind enough to allow our old man who was a little above the weight limit. What she didn’t know was this was his first beach trip, & we just found out he has an aggressive cancer so having him see the ocean with us helped us all make great memories when we need them the most. We did have a hiccup the first night as there was no hot water, but I message about 7:30 the next morning and the maintenance man came right out. He was very kind and got the element changed out super quick for us. However, the bug man came this same time too which we had no idea of- so it would have been nice to know he was coming beforehand. The house was super clean. The kitchen was well stocked to cook. But a few suggestions- 1) Please provide more than 2 dish towels for a week’s stay. 2) It would be nice if coffee filters were provided- even just enough for that stay 3) that window over the sink needs at least a sunshade! It’s a blind glare in the mornings!Overall the home is beautiful, spacious and clean- each bedroom having their own en suite bath was AWESOME! There are A LOT of steps. So this may be hard on some. But being over the tree line to see the ocean is wonderful. Check in and out was very easy. Communication was good, beach was uncrowded. Beautiful sunsets. Perfect family time.

VERY clean & quiet location.Communicating with the management team was easy.Just don't go out at night if you don't want to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. We really wanted to talk on the beach at night time but no matter how much bug spray we used, nothing worked. Other than that, you want some private family time, this is a good place.

Perfect getaway location

The house is just as listed! Pictures don’t do it justice. Beautifully decorated with modern and stylish decor and finishes. The house was immaculate, clean and organized. Management has great communication. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for Families

This home is beautifully renovated and was meticulously clean! The view of Saint Vincent Island was simply stunning! The sunrises over the bay were enjoyed from the private upper balcony. The palms and pines surrounding the property made you feel like you were on your own island! I hope our family has a chance to stay here again!

Home away from home

As promised, this property was Turtley Awesome! Traveling with four children isn't easy, but we had everything we needed to make our vacation great. Brittney was accommodating and responsive if we needed anything or had any questions. 10/10 would recommend.
