Welcome to Cabotopia, a luxurious 3-bedroom oceanfront retreat set on 7 private acres overlooking the beach in Cape Breton. Just 5–10 minutes from Chéticamp, you’ll have easy access to the Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, and Cabot Cliffs golf course.
Wake up to breathtaking ocean views, enjoy peaceful walks along the shore, and unwind in complete privacy, comfort, and style—perfect for experiencing the natural beauty and tranquility of Cape Breton.

THE NIGHTLY PRICE INCLUDES THE 3% CAPE BRETON MARKETING LEVY TAX.

1. HOUSE RULES: No pets, parties, events, smoking, fires or cooking fish, shellfish or other strong-odor foods indoors is permitted. Quiet time begins at 10 pm.

2. AGE RESTRICTION: For safety and other reasons, children must be 8 years or older to stay

3. HOME SHARING -- We are happy to host a family of up to 6 guests or 2 couples, but the property may not be shared by more than 4 adults without manager approval. Extra guest fees apply for 5th and 6th guest.

4. BEACH ACCESS - Accessing the beach below the embankment is not possible due to irreparable damage by Hurricane Fiona. Guests attempting to climb down the embankment do so at own risk.

5. EV CHARGING - The unit has a 240 Volt, 50-amp outlet for EV charging, but guests should bring their own charging cable and adapter (NEMA 14-50 / RV plug). See photo in gallery. Charging fees apply.

6. ATVs - We unfortunately cannot accommodate guests arriving by ATVs / side-by-sides.

Things To Do Near Us:

1. Hike the famous Skyline Trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Enjoy dramatic headland cliffs overlooking the rugged coast from the end of this level trail. You can enjoy an eagle's view of the Cabot Trail as it winds its way down the mountain.

2. Enjoy whale watching and coastal tours offered by local operators. Watch for whales in the Gulf of St. Lawrence from the viewing decks. Moose, bald eagles, bears and numerous boreal birds live here.

3. Enjoy live Celtic and Fiddle music at the Doryman Pub and Grill and Le Gabriel restaurants (just 10 min away).

4. Le Portage 18-Hole Golf Course. Tee off beneath the Cape Breton Highlands.

5. Museum/Gallery/Cultural Center -- At Les Trois Pignons heritage center you can dive into Acadian culture and the history of Chéticamp, view an impressive collection of tapestries, rare hook rugs and antiques. There is also a genealogy resource center.

6. Hike to the swimming hole at the Cheticamp Gypsum quarry. This is a short hike on an established trail/ ATV track that leads you to a beautiful, secret swimming spot near Cheticamp.

7. Swimming at Whale Cove beach, which is located a scenic 10 minutes away by car.
The villa is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio. There's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and a kitchen island.

The view from this property is amazing. We enjoyed relaxing watching the water and sunset from the deck and living room area. It was perfect for our needs and the lay out was very nice. Our hosts were very responsive and gave us a great deal of information about the property and area. Would recommend to anyone who needs a bit of relaxation after driving and hiking all day.

This accommodation is exactly as listed. The pictures are 100% accurate. The home is spotless and well-stocked with basics. The beds were comfy and the towels soft. There are even two washers and two dryers. The location is literally right off the Cabot Trail. There are some good restaurants nearby and and the larger Co-op grocery store is just the ticket to get whatever you need.It's only 30 minutes from Skyline Trail, too. Most importantly, the views from the back deck were breathtaking. Simply beautiful sunsets that will take your breath away. The host was very responsive to any questions.

Excellent private location, perfect for an escape from it all. Very clean home. Well maintained and thoughtfully stocked with all the comforts and necessities of your own home. The location is close to town and all the services and activities of the region. The hosts were attentive, easy to reach, and provided lots of ideas and suggestions on what to see and do in the area. The sunsets were spectacular. Overall, a high quality experience and worth the money.
