This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrived late, checked in, went to our two rooms but found both rooms to over run with cockroaches. The attendant showed us four rooms before we found two that were without bugs. The rooms were still dirty, smelled of smoke, the linens were all stained, had cigarette burns, and had small bugs everywhere. When the television was turned on it had pornography on still. There were hookers and derelicts hanging outside and people yelling all night. I will never stay at a red roof in again. Awful.

You get what you pay for. I'm not picky, but the hotel is definitely gross. The property is filthy and not maintained, there is garbage and rotting food all over the place and some areas carry the stench of decay. My room was sticky, I had to wear Crocs because the floor made my feet filthy. There were cigarette burns and large tears in my bedding. The furniture was dirty and not well-kept. The shower curtain was dirty and the sink had hair in it. It was fine for an affordable Pittsburgh convention stay, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was clean enough, but despite it being "recently renovated", it had a few problems. In particular the outside walkway to the room (and stairwell) had a serious bee issue...yes, bees. The walkways were not really maintained or cleaned well at all. Thankfully the rooms were much better (but still needed a few repairs)

Staff was kind but property was filthy. The premium room was ok I found a roach egg in a drawer but no actual bugs. linen discolored from the age but I know they washed the linen because the door of laundry was open . walking around the property to leave multiple janitor rooms fillled with old commodes and broken fixtures with a nasty stinch. Nothing really looks maintained. I did notice men working on the landscape.
