It was all about when we arrived. They gave away our room and then blamed the fact that three housekeepers called out the same day that they gave away our clean reserved room and instead after asking what we were to do after them giving away our room, the guy behind the desk went to an unmade room, did who knows what (probably straightened out, threw out trash but not much else) and took an aerosol can and sprayed it to make it seem fresh. Thirty minutes after arrival, he let us into the room. Two things…you knew you gave it away, if straightening it out was going to be under 30 minutes, why wait to do it? Also, no service to our room the entire time there…and I found stuff in the bed that had to be from the prior persons but was so exhausted, didn’t even argue, just figured they would clean the next day and they did not. No compensation offered for the levels of inconvenience or unprofessionalism. Red roof is out and orbitz may not be in any longer, either after this experience.
