When I requested late check out my host said it was $50/hour. I was sent a link to pay, but this website said $25/hour. I asked my host about this, and he said the website "says that automatically." I don't believe this because where the website said it was $25/hour was the same paragraph that included lots of specific information about the location that could not have been auto-generated. I felt I was being lied to so I called Vrbo support and they told me that my contract says $25/per hour, so that is the only price I need to pay. I told this to my host and he continued to deny he was raising the price, so I called Vrbo support again. This time they told me that they don't have access to the contract- only the host does. I found it frustrating that I was getting so much conflicting information, and that I was never sent a copy of the renters agreement to confirm or deny the $50/hour price. Upon arriving at the space, it was a complete mess. It was such a mess that I thought it had been double booked, and somebody was upstairs when I arrived. loose towels and pillows were strewn about, hair was in the bathroom sink + toilet, all the lights were on, trash and old food were left on the counters, cabinets and windows were open. And the backyard was a wreck. My host said cleaners had been there, but made a racist comment about how the last tenants probably broke in after the cleaners had left "because they were black." Save your money... rent a different space.
