Fabulous property!! Home was clean, elegant & peaceful. Home entertainment was superb . It was the ideal layout for guests who chose to watch a movie or Football comfortably in the many seating areas. Dining options within the home are beautifully appointed. If we had a question, the owners were quick to respond and even provided a phone number. First class!

The house was great! Everyone loved it, we had fun and there was plenty of things to do within 15 minutes of the location. A few things we did not like, there were not a lot of towels, we needed to buy toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies because there were not enough for our 4 day trip. Other than that it was a 5 star experience! Would recommend it for golf trips.

Great place for golf outing.

Brought my father and 10 other friends to pinehurst for a 3 day golf trip. House was local to everything and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend for large groups traveling to the area to play golf!!

Great place for large groups

There was plenty of space for everyone. There is a formal dining with a table for 10 and a table for 10 in the kitcheen plus 6 seats at the counter. I have been in many VRBO's and I have never seen so much glass ware. There is plemty of plates and silverware. There were alot of lids but only a few pots, I think some were missing. The place is set up where each 4 beds get one bathroom with an extra full bath upstairs. My only complaint or to be correct my wifes only complaint was the single Queen bedroom that we stayed in was formerly an office, clear glass doors and no curtains, so no privacy.

Great Property

The other reviews describe the house and management very well. We had some issues with the cleanliness of the house but the management was very responsive and sorted it out in a timely manner. The outside of the windows has not been cleaned in a while which is visible when the sun shines through them. Although there were the above mentioned imperfections, the overall experience was great and we had a wonderful time.

Likely to Return to this Property

Our party of 8 (4 couples) stayed at Abbey Manor for a golf weekend and had a fabulous trip! The property is spacious and allowed all of us to be comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the living room and dining setup that made it easy for us to dine and visit together. The customer service for the property was incredible! Every morning and evening they checked in to make sure things were to our liking. If you are planning a couples trip versus a family with kids or golfing buddies, you should be aware of a few issues with the setup. Although it may sleep 24, one of the “bedrooms” does not offer any privacy. It may have been an office converted to a bedroom. There are no closets in the majority of rooms so if you prefer to hang your clothes up, you’ll need to account for that. The bathroom setup created some challenges for 8 people to get ready in a timely manner. Overall though, the positives outweighed the deficiencies and we would likely stay here again if we had 8-10 people. Anything more than that, we would select a different property.

Luxurious Short Term Getaway

My family and I stayed at the Abbey Manor this past weekend to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. The pictures online do not do the property justice for how gorgeous and clean it is. We were able to check in early to set up the surprise and have some wiggle room to check out a bit later. The day of communication was excellent and if there was anything we needed, responses were returned in a very prompt manner. My mother, family, and I had an absolutely perfect stay and we look forward to staying at the abbey manor again.

Family Gathering

We were there for a family gathering. Staying there were grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and teen children...mostly staying at the house a majority of the time. This house was very well suited for this. I've been on golf trips annually for the last 20 years with the same group of guys. If I review this house from that lens...this house is GREAT!!! It is one of the best options I've seen over 20 years of traveling for golf across the country. The catering option is spectacular. I highly recommend. The management group assisting us was very responsive and helpful. Again, I highly recommend.

Hosted a bookclub retreat and was completely impressed with the home! Upon arrival with jazz playing to the ease of checkout everything was amazing. The property manager answered questions within minutes and provided extra paper towels and trash bags at almost midnight. Superb service, modern and comfortable decor including the luxury bedding left a lasting impression and we plan to return again in the future!
