We love this hotel! Have stayed several times. All of the rooms are so unique and always clean. Staff is so welcoming, helpful and friendly. And there is a wonderful bar on the premises. Make sure to stop in for a craft cocktail.

Not clean, missing basic hotel room items

The room was missing a desk and a dresser. The bathroom was not clean-see pics. The was a beat up mini fridge laying on the floor. Also note the placement of the toilet paper dispenser. This hotel is far from luxury as advertised.

Loved it!

Our flight got canceled and we stayed in Philly for the night. Found The Franklin on Hotels.com for a good rate and took a chance. We were so pleasantly surprised. We stayed in one of the apartment-style rooms—I loved the interior design. Beautiful and new. Will definitely stay next time I’m in town!

We enjoyed our stay. This was our first time in Philly and Rittenhouse Sq area was recommended. The hotel is small, the room was nicely decorated, had all we needed. The breakfast was simple enough to hit the spot. The staff were fabulous but Addison was my favourite. Nice to be welcomed with a kiss when you entered the lobby!! (Addison is a black lab in case you were wondering 😜). We walked all over the city with ease, never felt unsafe and even took in a Phillies game via the subway…super efficient. We loved Philadelphia and look forward to visiting again.

Upon check in we had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to even arrive at the front desk to help us. Room was outdated. Bathroom and shower were great. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet. Overall a little pricy for what you get.
