The beautiful and elegant apartment is located in a community complex that offers a pool, and it has two balconies and a lateral terrace to enjoy relaxing moments, sip delicious local wine as you are admiring the belvedere that Lake Como offers.

Additionally, the terrace is equipped with table and benches where you can sit, relax, and taste typical Italian style dinners with the company of relatives and friends.



Thanks to the French doors that gives access to the balconies, Jewel of Varenna is a bright property with a breathtaking lake view throughout the living space.

Misleading Listing, Unsafe Conditions, and Unresponsive Host — Avoid at All Costs

This property was a nightmare. It was advertised as having AC, but only had one weak portable unit that couldn’t cool the home below 27C (80F), making it unsafe for our newborn who was overheating and crying nonstop. On top of that, we were warned not to use multiple electrical devices at once or risk losing power—making it impossible to use fans or cool the space.Worse, the water heater vented directly into the kitchen, filling the home with gas whenever hot water was used. This is an extreme safety hazard—likely carbon monoxide—and completely unacceptable. We were forced to leave early and cancel our Lake Como vacation due to these dangers.The host company, Varenna Holidays, was initially dismissive and then completely stopped responding. They offered no help, no relocation, and left us to deal with the crisis ourselves. We had to book emergency lodging in Austria, incurring high travel costs due to limited availability in Como.I’m still waiting for a full refund and reimbursement for travel expenses from Los Angeles to Como and beyond. This listing is deceptive, unsafe, and the host’s behavior was negligent and irresponsible. Do not book this property or trust this host.
