We were looking for an out of the way base to enjoy the outdoors in West Virginia. This place fit the bill for sure. A cozy cabin, with wrap around porch, reasonably furnished, on the bank of a babbling brook. The cabin is great, although it could be cramped for more than two adults, and a child or two. It was reasonably close to things we wanted to see, Blackwater Falls, the towns of Davis and Thomas, and incredible scenery. This is one of five cabins, each dedicated to a branch of the military; this one was the Marines, so Semper Fi!
The water supply is apparently not considered potable, but we were given more than an adequate supply of bottled water. The only other negative is the TV. Our first night there we tried and tried to get the TV to work to no avail. The next night we were advised that the TV only works for Netflicks. We couldn't even get that to work.
