We will definitely be back. Kales cottage is perfect for a couple or single with or without a pet. The yard is big with multiple places to relax. It’s very private. There is a hiking trail a block away. The kitchen is wonderfully complete.

I cannot imagine a more beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, or satisfying place to stay!!! I fell in love with the place the moment I opened the wooden gate to the secluded fenced yard - my eyes were dancing with the lush and colorful plants and trees, my ears were delighted with the soothing sounds of wind chimes and birds singing! There was a fire pit and chopped pine wood for night time enjoyment. You will love the covered eating area with a table and chairs, and the fun-for-all corn hole game set!The inside was just as enchanting! Lots of windows, including a sky light! All the amenities and cozy comforts of home! I especially appreciated the ultra thick and absorbent towels, extra soft sheets, and premium TP! In every corner I saw thoughtful, lovely and skillful details - and wait until you see the beautiful wrought-iron towel racks and hooks, made by local blacksmith Smyth Boone!The hosts were great to communicate with and went above and beyond to make changes to my schedule.All in all, this was the greatest lodging I've ever experienced. We'll be back as often as we can!

We absolutely loved staying at Kale's cottage and I have no doubt we will return in the future! I love Paonia and the North Fork Valley and this stay reflected a lot of what I love about the area.
