Our stay at Mermaid was PERFECT!! The house is in a central location and Beach is right across the street. The house is fully stocked from kitchen to beach equipment and bikes. The owner are amazing. They helped us with our planning and the few things we did need while we were there were taken care of within minutes. I give this place and the owners a 100!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Mermaids Retreat. The property was beautiful and offered every amenity we could have hoped for. Communication with the owner was outstanding from start to finish, making everything smooth and stress-free. The location was incredibly convenient, just steps across from the beach access, which made our days at the beach effortless.Although bikes were available for use, we spent most of our time enjoying the wonderful private pool each afternoon after returning from the beach. It quickly became one of our favorite parts of the stay.Mermaids Retreat was the perfect place for my wife and me to celebrate my retirement, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay again.

I can not recommend this place enough. We traveled with families with littles and it was perfect location with beach access just across the street and the pool was amazing. The host was responsive and helpful to all of our needs. This is the most well stocked house I can ever stayed at as far as kitchen needs, towels, beach chairs/ gear, pool toys, floats, etc. We ended up not needing stuff that we had packed because they had it all. The house was perfect for multiple families. Grill was clean and ready to use (which I feel like is rare) and the string lights in the back brought the perfect ambience. Smart TVs were so easy to use. Couch was big and comfortable and nice for large families. Plenty of seating everywhere. Again, everything for this place was perfect, and I cant wait to stay here again!

Great beach house!

The house is great! Plenty of room and nice outside pool. But with younger kids the best part was being able to walk right across the street to the beach. We went in mid-June and the beach was not crowded at all. Plus, the hosts are so nice and accommodating. We will be back!

Wonderful week. This is a great house. Very convenient to beach access just across the street. Everything in the house is set for a comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable. A/C works great. Pool is great for the kids. Definitely recommend this house for a family wanting a great place to stay on 30A.

If I could give a higher rating for communication with host, I would. What a lovely couple. So responsive and patient and wonderful. Then location- location, location, location. It was perfect- right across from the beach but not in the center of the shops (so it was less congested) but easily walkable or on bikes (or drive) to all of the beach town centers. The house is perfectly equipped- bikes, all kitchen needs, lovely clean pool, beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We couldn't have wanted for more. The back area is so lovely- we had dinner and played games in the screened in porch with the fans at night. We spent hours reading on the third floor walkout where you can see the Gulf. I wish I was back there right now!

Great place!

We loved our stay at Mermaid’s Retreat! The location was excellent being so close to the beach and also walking and biking distance to shops, but not so close to where there was a lot of noise. It was super peaceful. The house was exactly as listed and very clean! Troy was always extremely quick to answer any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location and Amazing Hosts

First - The communication and response from the owners was hands down, amazing. Troy was on point throughout the process providing updates to the booking, calling within min of a few minor issues during our stay, and going above and beyond to follow up. The house has everything you need to simplify your stay - 8 beach chairs (some brand new), a wagon (brand new), beach umbrellas, and plenty of sand toys. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of flatware and utensils, and all bedrooms had decent linens. The pool was great and gets great mid day sun for a few hours, but has nice shade early morning and late afternoon. We paid for the heated pool and it was set to a perfect 87 and held temp so kids enjoyed it our entire stay.My only complaint (not that I would even call it that) was that some of the bedrooms don't have smart TV's (they do have older blue ray players that are smart but can't access all the apps or only work intermittently) and our stay was during the start of march madness so with a few sports nuts in the house we struggled to try and watch the games we wanted between only 2 smart TV's that were functional with streaming apps.Plenty of amazing restaurants within a 5 - 10 min drive, daily 3-5 mile walks and bike rides are a breeze with the walking path across the street and included bikes, and all around was a great stay at a great location!

Perfect 30A Vacation!

My girlfriends and I all stayed at this gorgeous property for a long weekend celebrating me for my bachelorette. The house location was absolutely amazing and was a rare find due to us having free beach access right across the street from the house along with a private pool in our backyard! The only recommendations I would have is for there to be more bikes granted the house accommodates so many people - however, there are many bike rental companies in the area that you can rent some from. The other would be for a couple extra toiletries (ex: more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and trash bags) as we ran out quite fast with there being so many of us! Other than that, the house came equipped with every and anything you can think of! Most of all, Mandy, the host, was so incredibly kind the days leading up to our trip, answering all of my questions and even giving us all the best recommendations and ideas for us girls to do during our stay. Overall, she was extremely accommodating and a wonderful host and the house was so roomy for all of us girls! I would definitely recommend considering this vacation home if you come to this BEAUTIFUL part of Florida as it also is located in between all of the most amazing spots in 30A area (right in the middle of Rosemary and Seaside). Thank you Mandy for helping us have such an amazing trip that I will forever cherish - I will definitely be back!!

Perfect 30A Rental

We had an amazing stay with our large family group (6 adults and 4 kids). The location is perfect with a close walk across the street to beach access and the private pool was a nice bonus. The house is very well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, and a beach wagon to carry it all down. The kitchen is also well stocked with everything you need to cook at home. We would strongly recommend.

Great home. Great location.

This home was great for our family. Plenty of space, clean, and just a short walk to the beach. With small children, having easy access to and from the beach was key and having a private pool with plenty of shade was a game changer. It was our first time taking the kids to Florida and we hope to do so many more times!
