Very nice stay!

My family and I had a very nice stay at the salty perch. The house is nice and it’s decorated very well. The location is great too. It’s just a short walk to the beach. It came well stocked with everything we needed to cook with and also had plenty of Tupperware containers for leftovers which was great! My only complaint would be we had some noisy neighbors for most of the week partying right below our bedroom window. They were up until midnight some nights even though it is supposed to be quiet after 9pm. The outdoor furniture could also use updating. Overall it was great though and we would definitely consider coming back again.

We loved this property for us and one other couple.It was located close to the beach, so we felt very safe and secure. The property was very well-kept. There is only one small thing to know: There were not many dressers for clothes, but there were plenty of hangers for the closet. Also, chairs at the dinning table were not very comfortable for long card playing but everything else was comfy and good!

Wonderful experience

This was our first time to Rosemary Beach. Everything we have read was true. An absolute awesome experience on 30a. This property is perfectly located, clean, and well appointed for our family of 6 consisting of 3 older teenage girls and a 9 yo boy. The crowded beach is an understatement. You have to wake up at 5 AM to put your chair by the water in order to have a space. However, I did call the sheriffs office who said that all the beaches are public and the vendors do not have a legal right to chase you off. No matter what they say about having deeded private property and they will prosecute you and call the sheriff, put your chair down and your umbrella and tell them to call the sheriff. The sheriffs office will tell you the vendors/security do not have any legal authority to remove you from anywhere on the beach . I will say if you go down to the beach and turn right and go sit in front of the houses just at the high tideline, no one will bother you. It was worth it and over the week when people saw us sitting down there others begin to join. Do not let the vendors ruin your vacation by forcing you onto a sliver of the beach that they don’t have the legal rights to. They will get very aggressive, like yelling in your face and picking up their phone to dial the sheriffs, but just look at them calmly and smile and tell them to call the sheriffs department, you were happy to meet a deputy. Occasionally the deputy will show up to ‘mediate’ but can not make you move. They will tell them vendor sorry, we can’t make them move. Watch the vendors blood boil in the hot, beautiful, emerald coast sun. Enjoy. We will be back!

Perfect spot on 30A

My family and I spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every second of it. The house was perfectly situated between Rosemary and Alys beach, and was 2 min walking distance to the pool and beach. The house had everything you could want including beach chairs, boogie boards, and a wagon to pull it. Make sure to bring your own beach towels and groceries, and keep the wristband on at all times when walking around. Their security for the complex is excellent, just make sure they know you’re staying there with the wristbands! 😁 Thanks for letting us stay! We’ll come again for sure.

Fantastic location but could use a few improvements

The best thing, by far, about this property is it's location - about 200 yards from the beach. We absolutely loved the proximity and took advantage. The house in general is nicely decorated, although the white furniture (the living room chair in particular) could use a good steam clean. The master bedroom really needs curtains in addition to the shades. The sunlight starts streaming in at 5:30/6:00 making sleeping in all but impossible. Also very disappointed that there are not beach towels provided, which I find very strange for a house so close to the beach. Not a big deal for people driving in, but those coming by plane need to purchase them which adds not only expense, but hassle. My biggest frustration was with the property management. I reached out via text and messing to confirm whether there were bikes on the property or not. One response said yes and the other said no. And a voicemail I left to try to clear it up was never returned. Thankfully, there were three bikes there that we really enjoyed using and I was thankful that it wasn't another that I erroneously paid for in advance. There was also no mention of the fact that there ARE beach chairs on the property, so I'm pretty annoyed that we spent nearly $300 to rent them for the weekend, after finding the chairs too late to cancel the rental. Finally, the day before check-in, I received a call from the property management confirming check in and I told them it would be about 8:00/8:30 pm. There was no mention of what we were to do if the security guard wasn't there and the gate was locked. After a call to the answering service we were finally able to get into the house, but I think "after hours" check-in instructions should be a bit more thorough. All of that being said we would stay in this property again if curtains were added to the master bedroom.

Great location

Beautiful property in a great location at Rosemary Beach. Located about a block from the beach. Lots to do in the area, Able to ride bikes to shopping, restaurants, etc. The beach in front of the property is reserved for guess at that location, but was jam packed every day. Renting a chair was not possible as all were reserved and even so, was very expensive at $70-$100 per day. There are a lot of rules on site and security at the property were often unfriendly regarding them (wearing wristbands, special tags for your bikes, cards to get in and out of the property ) Property expected you do pick up at end of stay (gathering linens and towels, throwing garbage out to garbage can and doing dishes) for the price you pay and the cleaning fee would expect this should not be an issue, along with supplying a few additional paper towels, toilet paper etc. Overall great trip, but again for price, would’ve expected more.

Nice home. Clean and comfortable. Great location. Short walk to beach, Seacreast restaurants, and Rosemary. Bike ride to Watersound and Alys. Use of pool also nice. We really enjoyed. Use Kerry - Seas the Day for chairs. So worth the expense. Loved staying here.

Perfect location and size for our family of 5!

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay! We will be coming again! There was a small mix-up at the front gate when we arrived. They didn’t have our name on their list but i just told them our house number and they let us on in to give it a try. There was NO hand soap in the whole house. There were lots of sand toys, boogie boards and toys that were left behind for us to use! We tried to get ahold of Kerry at the beach umbrella rental company that was provided to us, but he never returned our call. Luckily, we showed up to the beach the first day and they had a couple umbrellas available. Or else we would have been stranded without chairs or unbrellas! All in all…it was a great week!

Perfect location and adorable villa

We have been to 30a multiple times and this was one of our favorite spots -- a definite must stay again. You can't beat the location -- steps from the boardwalk and pool and an easy walk to the shops at Seacrest and Rosemary. The check-in and -out instructions were informative and they sent a reminder the day before so I didn't have to search through email. The kitchen was well appointed. We usually eat most meals in but with COVID, we cooked everyday. The kitchen had everything we needed, from knives to cutting boards and even storage containers for leftovers. If you're a coffee drinker, just a heads up that you will need Keurig pods. We are a family of four, but you can easily sleep 6.

Rosemary Stay

The location to the beach and private access to pool was everything! This was our 5yr coming to Rosemary! There were some things that were bothersome. Their was no propane in tank for our chef to cook with. I called property manager 3xs to get this fixed and did finally receive a call back saying they had other emergencies and we could go purchase our own propane and they would reimburse us. ( I did not like that at all- especially after paying the VRBO fee) Secondly, some black out blinds should be installed. The sun rises at 6am and both bedrooms are extremely bright. ( everyone should be able to enjoy sleeping in). Other than that, it was a very lovely stay. The beach toys were accessible and outdoor shower was convenient.

Loved this location. Rented bikes and umbrella/ chairs from La Dolce Vita. The house was very cute and perfect for the four of us. We parked the bikes in the front outdoor living area. Only had one car so not an issue for my crew.

Great location, location, location!

After many FL panhandle beach vacations, Rosemary Beach is our favorite. Beautiful beaches, easy access with a great shopping and dining experience, all within walking distance. Our VRBO rental was ideal, comfortable and clean. Once we had the refrigerator full of food, there was little reason to leave until the end of our stay. Highly recommend location and accommodations.

Great Trip

Overall, we had a great trip. The layout of this villa was perfect for our family of 4. Very nice appliances and decor. The walk to the beach and pool is very short. Also, there is just a short bike ride or walk to shopping, groceries, and restaurants of Rosemary. Our family loves being able to ride bikes everywhere. We were a little disappointed in the amount of mold growing in the showers but that should be an easy fix. We had difficulty accessing the pool, but that was because the previous renters forgot to leave the key fob in the room. Once again, overall, a great property.

Ideal Beach Getaway for Families

The property was as described in the listing! Close to the beach, perfect size for our family of 4! The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and beach toys that were at the property! It was easy to walk and ride bikes to the restaurants and shops! I highly recommend renting chairs from Kerry at Seas the Day in advance of your stay! He is on a much less crowded part of the beach! By the time we got the recommendation it was almost too late! Overall great trip and great place to stay!

Great small rental

Great rental. Clean and secure. Easy access to the beach. Only complaint is the property manager could have provided more guidance on beach chair rental setups. I found it difficult to believe that they had no knowledge of the beach chair rental company since there is inky ken in front of this beach access. BTW it’s La Dolce Vita. After googling we had to call several companies to find the right one. These things would be helpful to make everything turn key and take the service to the highest level. Otherwise, we highly recommend this location.
