Unfortunately, our stay was really frustrating due to ongoing WiFi issues. The internet was unreliable throughout the trip, and the cell signal was also very poor, which made it even harder to stay connected. Communication with reception was disappointing—there didn’t seem to be any tracking of message threads, so we constantly had to repeat ourselves and explain the same issues over and over. The responses often felt canned and not very helpful. We ended up having to move rooms twice due to the lack of internet service and an unpleasant odor in the rooms, which was exhausting and took away from what should have been a relaxing stay. The only time we felt like things were truly addressed was when we finally spoke directly with the resort manager, who was helpful and worked to resolve the situation. One important note: the property manager/host is a third party and did not assist with any resort-related issues, so you’re essentially on your own when problems come up.That said, the resort itself has a lot going for it. The gym, pool, facilities, and restaurants were all very nice. I just wish the communication, room issues, and basic connectivity had been handled better from the start.
