This gem was perfect for our multi-generational family of four. The location is great and the unit was quiet and had everything we needed for meals in. The gas stove added a bit of charm (and warmth) for the cooler days during our stay. We'd love to stay here again.

Perfect Spot in Ouray

We very much enjoyed this property as the perfect “base” for our family of four in Ouray. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and when we did need to drive parking right outside was very convenient. Communication with the owner was smooth and they were very responsive. Highly recommend.

A hiking and soaking getaway for old college friends.

Nice place, one towel hanging as clean had a sh@! Stain running down the middle of it, said it had air conditioning and just had a cooling fan, wanted to take an Rodin salt bath but the plunger in the tub didn't work. Other than those things, clean and a great location. Honestly would stay there again.

Ouray beautiful but property was just OK

I had certain things on my check list that I was looking for. AC was top of my list due to us traveling to Colorado before and knowing it can get hot. We were notified after check in that there was no AC and we had a fan that would blow over ice cubes. It was 80* with this fan. On 2nd day the door knob fell off the spare room and locked us out. We were advised they would come on Monday to fix it. We eventually had to break into the room by taking off both sides of door knobs. My husband was able to get it back open using some kitchen utensils. No one ever showed up and no communication was ever received. We left Fri. The city was amazing I’ll be back but I would not rent here again. Considering the exact place is being discounted online I would have thought at the least some money back would have been offered.

We stayed in Ouray for 4 nights and this place was perfect! We could walk to everything in town, free parking, good wifi, very clean. It’s a great base for any Ouray adventures.

Very nice stay...poor communication

I received daily text messages during pur stay. I requestrd more towels with no response which was inconvenient; however we made the best with what we had. We enjoyed our stay and accommodations served our needs.

Great stay!

The Laughing Magpie was the perfect place for our family of four. Cozy, comfortable, and clean. It was a welcome refuge after eventful days of hiking, shopping, touring, and exploring. Check-in and check-out were easy compared to some of the other methods we’ve experienced in the past. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a simple, cozy place to stay.

Cozy Great location!

We stayed for a long weekend with our daughter and their wife. If you can't do stairs, this is NOT the condo for you. It is on the smaller side with an apartment size refrigerator and stove, but we made it work. The gas woodstove was perfect for our wintery stay. Check-in was hampered due to our struggle with the lock and we did not have any cell phone reception in order to get in touch with the management. We finally figured it out and all was good. The shower does run VERY hot, but with a little finesse we adjusted it to what worked for us. Location is one block to the main street and lots of shopping, restaurants and a fantastic wine bar!

Fall Roadtrip

Really enjoyed our stay at the Laughing Magpie. Very comfortable and well equipped. Location was perfect for all we wanted to do. Fall colors were beautiful at our time there. We did off-roading until mid day, then enjoyed the town the rest of the day.. Easy walk to local restaurants, etc. Ouray has so much to offer. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice place in my favorite town

This property is right near Main Street and super convenient. Everything was clean and ready. It does have lots of steps. Overall a very nice rental.
