Between the condition of the home and the lack of customer service from Evolve, we are extremely disappointed in our experience. Evolve boasts things like 'Before we put our name on a home, we check it in person to make sure it’s ready for guests' and 'Should you need any help during your stay, you can think of us as the front desk — we’re here for you 24/7', but neither are true statements. We have been trying to contact Evolve for 7 days now, calling numerous times, leaving two voice messages and a message on their website, and have not been able to reach a customer service rep nor have we received a call back. They say 'If the home isn’t up to our standards, we’ll make it right', but it doesn't appear that will ever happen since it's impossible to reach anyone at Evolve. Evolve provided guest contacts, who were very nice & helpful, but appeared to have no knowledge that they were actually supposed to be guest contacts. The home was nowhere near ready for guests. The first floor interior door was stuck shut, creating a fire hazard, the AC units had warning lights showing the filters needed cleaning, the first floor shower pipe was pulling away from the wall, the carpet and furniture were dirty and stained, the baseboard heater was pulling away from the wall in the master bedroom, the blinds were broken on the front door and in both 3rd floor bedrooms, the ceiling light fixture in the 3rd bedroom was hanging loose, the dock had board(s) missing where someone could lose a foot, there was broken rattan furniture on the dock, and the patio, there was no stand-up paddle board as mentioned in the amenities, one patio umbrella was broken & the other was full of mold, and the supplies were very limited (TP, paper towels and trash bags). This is our first experience with Evolve and it will definitely be our last. The only reason this review is 2 stars is because of the location and view.
