Great home, but too many dead bugs:(

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. The only down side was the dead bugs. If we hadn’t arrived first to clean them up, several of our party wouldn’t have stayed. Having the cleaning crew vacuum them before we arrive would have made our arrival less dramatic. Also replacing batteries in the entrance code would have eliminated some problems.

2023 Ozark Golf Trip

Beautiful property!

We had 9 adults and 3 kids and the layout of this property was perfect! You, basically, have three floors of living spaces. Communications were exceptional and the owner couldn’t have been nicer!! Only complaint is we didn’t have more time to stay but will definitely book again!!

Misleading dock description.

The dock was described as a swim dock but the dock is at the end of a cove and only in about 3 feet of water. It was more of a stand dock. The tile floors throughout the kitchen area turned all of our feet black in the first 30 minutes, the master shower has black mold in the tile grout and the 12"x12" patio paver stones were very wobbly on the decent down to the dock which make getting down safely especially with coolers difficult. If you plan on renting a boat just know that you'll have about 2' of clearance from the surrounding docks to get your boat back to your dock and you'll need to hop on the neighboring docks to hand push your boat through. The parking worked out well. We had 5 vehicles and easily could have fit 2 more. We were walking distance from the community pool which was nice. Hope this helps anyone looking at this property. These are all things we wish we would have known.

Solid Place

Overall the house has a great layout and was pretty well stocked. The decks are great. It is steep property so the walk down and up to the dock is not the easiest. You cannot really swim off the dock which was disappointing, but we were able to put a giant floatie in the water, and the boys were able to fish. All in all it was a good stay for a very large family gathering.

Great Family Vacation

This house fit into our plans so much. The kids had a blast jumping off the dock into the lake and when they got tired of that they had the community pool right up the street. There was so much room that everyone was able to stretch out and relaxed and not be under foot. We were close to everything we nneeded and wanted to do ( shopping, Big Surf, hiking and groceries). Loved this house and miss it already

Clean/Plenty of Room

Wonderful stay! Plenty of room inside for multiple families and parking for multiple vehicles. The various levels were great for some separation, but still being together. The walk down to the dock is fairly steep and a few steps were wobbly, but everyone was able to make it down without issues. Would definitely recommend and rebook in the future if going back!

Great Visit

My family met for Thanksgiving at the property. The home is beautiful and in a great quiet cove. It was a perfect location, with easy access to everything we needed. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely book again!

Spacious well equipped house near Margaritaville

We had a group of 8 adults and 3 young children staying for a week long family reunion and there was plenty of room for everyone. It has a total of 6 bedrooms over three levels (note, the bottom level is a separate one bedroom unit that you access by the external staircase). Kitchen had lots of silverware and cooking utensils. House is located in a lovely neighborhood less than a mile from the Margaritaville resort area. Only downside is if you're planning to do a lot of boating or lake activities it's not the greatest as the footing along the unpaved walkway to the small platform is a bit treachorous. Parking room was plentiful for several vehicles. We were relieved to find out the trash pickup is M-W-F as the single trash bin fills up quickly with a large group. Overall, it's a great property and we had a terrific time staying there.

Ozark Family Vacay

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The neighborhood was quiet and so peaceful. We loved the pool. The home was super clean and well stocked. Kids had fun swimming off the dock. It is difficult to get to the swim doc...there are no stairs and it was steep, so my parents could not make it down. Other than that... everything was great! Gloria responded with any questions right away. We will stay here again for sure!

Ozark home getaway

The house was in great condition clean and plenty of room for the 9 adults and 2 small children. Full of fun games to enjoy. Location was great. The community of Tan Tar was warm and welcoming. Enjoyed use of the neighborhood pool and a fun little 4th of July golf cart parade. it was walkable around the community and into Margaritaville. The area was full of dear, greeting us on our morning walks. Would stay here again and most definitely will tell friends about this wonderful home!
