The location of this house is why it was selected it.We will never stay here again. We arrive late in the night just me and my daughter at 11pm the battery on the door lock was so low that we couldn’t get in. We reach out to the owner, the property manager all listed and VRBO itself. The property owner did not answer for a while and when he did reply it was a did you get in. We tried for over 2 hours to get help. Finally the owner gave me a new code that worked. I replaced the batteries and finally the code I originally was given worked. As the rest of my family started to arrive we noticed the pool was dirty and had other peoples toys left in the pool there was a smoked cigar/ blunt left at the pool. later we found a brand new pack of weed left in the grill. The Ac didn’t work a family member thought it was the batteries but it was a wire. Not 1 of the rooms had a working fan and none of the rooms had batteries for the tv remotes. The couch pictured in the original pictures is now covered in black duct tape (gross) the blanket in the mermaid room smelled like pee just in one spot. The housekeeper did come because we complained and washed the blankets. The window in the mermaid room also did not have a screen on it. not very safe for a kids room in a house that the ac doesn’t work. The house is in a great location and has good bones it is need of some serious TLC more than what a housekeeper can do. It needs a power washer and a handy man. Very disappointing.
