Golf Community 6 Bed Home

House was well equipped, with kitchen had every thing we needed,the pool deck was excellent in size compare to other houses we have rented,we did have a air condition problem but problem was solved very quickly,would recommend house to future renters,we have rented house for next year.

House needs work

Nice layout but needs attention. HVAC needs work, 3 thermostats but don't know which one works for each room.Sprinkler system needs maintenance. Ants in sinks and pantry. TV's in bedrooms don't have cable.

Christmas Holiday Disappointment

My family stayed seven nights at the Highland Reserve 6 Bed Executive Villa during the Christmas holiday and our stay did not go as expected. The home was in a quiet area and close to grocery stores, which was a plus. Several of the amenities did not live up to the standard of this type of vacation home. The washcloths provided in some of the bathrooms seemed to be dish towels and we purchased new ones. This is something that should have easily been noticed and replaced. We did not have access to the internet for the entirety of our stay and the hosts told us there was an outage. After trying to log in, we discovered a message that the internet had been suspended. The kitchen also had issues. because the ice maker and water did not work. The oven was Celsius instead of Fahrenheit and we had to convert it for cooking. One of the bar stools was missing a screw and my husband almost fell getting on it. The listing states that each bedroom was equipped with cable TV, and this isn’t exactly true. All the bedrooms had digital antenna television which is not cable. We also had issues with the heating and cooling within the house. The master suite was sweltering with heat one minute and freezing the next. On the last night of our stay, the room finally cooled down. The other bedrooms were cold throughout our stay. Multiple zone thermostats were not properly calibrated to control the temperature in the villa appropriately. I also suggest that they exterminate due to ants in LR area.

False Advertisement

The photos they have on their listing are totally not what’s there!! Furniture is not what’s shown in listing, the children’s rooms were not Disney decorated, unless the one Disney lamp that ticks when you turn on is considered themed?? Listing states home is newly renovated…so far off! Tried contacting host by emails and phone number listed only to be ignored our entire 9 days of our stay. Both king master bedrooms have to share a bathroom Master bedroom(by front door) closet doors off hinges Hair dryer in master bath does not work Outside Garbage bins full upon arrival There is no light in the kids shower/tub area. Air/heating in master bedroom by pool is awful, goes from extremely hot to cold constantly Pool - no cover for the pool, paid extra for pool to be heated and it was cold. No disclosure that the heating might not work based on the time of year until you read it in the “house” binder and by then it is too late as they have collected your funds, USD cash. Garbage behind nightstand. Kitchen essentials missing. Dead batteries in tv remotes. Kitchen blinds fall off. No first aid kit. Chair at island missing screw, son sat down and chair collapsed, only one screw in it. No dish cloths for washing dishes. No response from host when we reached out. Pictures showed themed kids rooms, only themed item was a lamp that didn’t work. One bathroom had dirty washcloth on counter upon arrival. Stayed Dec272023-Jan.6,2023

Family Vacation to Disney

Property owners were very generous & always available when needed. Home was very spacious for our family vacation. A few minor items were addressed to property owners for future updates. Overall the nieghborhood is very quiet and was pleasant to stay in, my dad & uncle enjoyed golf course, and loved it was across the street from another rental that our extended family stayed in.

Amazing location

Highlands Reserve is a very safe and welcoming community, with a high value golf course. Close to shopping and major attractions. House was large with lots of space to gather. House needed some TLC and more items available in kitchen. Linens and towels are ready for refresh. Paul and Rossy were quick to respond to any needs we had.

2023 Vacation

The villa was very nice. Large and well furnished. The pool area was extremely nice. We had a smoke alarm issue the 1st evening and someone was sent right over to fix it. The manager and management company were very difficult to deal with and quite unresponsive. Before the stay many emails were never returned. After the stay we were told we damaged a trash bin (no one remembers this) and we would be charged. Almost a month after our stay no refund has been issued (less the charge). This is enough for us to decide to not rebook with this group. Some items the villa is lacking: * There was no plastic glasses or plates. This is a big issue with respect to safe outside beverage consumption and poolside dinners * There were no beach style pool towels. We ended up using regular towels for swimming, spas, and poolside lounging. Proper beach towels would be more becoming in such a beautiful villa setting * There was no ability to PVR shows, sporting events, movies, or kids shows. Providing a PVR as part of the basic TV cable package would be an appropriate upgrade * The spa should have a 104 deg temperature maximum. It was maybe 100
