My wife and I (family and friends) have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 15 years. About three or four years ago we stop staying. The property needed a refresh and the last time we stayed in a room that had a damp/mold smell. It was the second floor lake side (likely rm# 200-212).
We greatly enjoy the celebration area, dining, shows, holiday events, all this picture perfect town offers. It was our “go to” for some time.
Last night 9/25/25, we decided to give it another try while dining in celebration and doing a quick day at Disney.
Well the hotel has had a great refresh, the exterior and interior of the property looks great. Every aspect of the rooms furnishing’s has been updated, upgraded, and truly the hotel is nicer than ever.
My low review rating is because we stayed in rm# 204 and the room had the same (worse) dank/mold smell.
We arrived late and thought we should change rooms, but turned the Ac down and the fan on high when we returned to the room from dinner about 10:15pm it was mildly better, but by 3am we were both disgusted and disappointed that all these great changes had happened and this was still an issue. We checked out, and I doubt will ever return to this hotel again! Having guest breathe meldew and mold all night is disrespectful and unhealthy..!
