Beachball did a good job of communicating, if not a little over communicative at points. Our door code didnt work, which meant I had to contact them after hours when we got to the condo. It did take several door codes before one worked, but the staff were very helpful. The condo itself does need some refreshing, but we really enjoyed the amenities on the property. The "parking fee" was pretty steep for a weekend. It would have been nice to know this before staying, as we were expecting the normal 20-25, not 55, and we would have limited our vehicles. Overall, it was a nice trip, but the few detractors meant it was 4 stars vice 5.

The unit supplied everything as mentioned in description. The beds were comfortable, plenty of additional bedding, and super comfortable large sofa. Our family of 5 had a great time. As the mom my favorite part of a vacation is where I'll be relaxing and this was a cozy perfect spot. Well lit elevator area with 4 elevators. Thank you

Room was clean. Outside patio light didn’t work, was suppose to come fix but never showed up.Location is great, right in the middle of gulf shores and orange beach. Having multiple elevators was great. Never had to waitTons of luggage carts to make arriving and leaving easier as well.

The location and amenities were very nice! My kids didn’t want to leave the pools or splash pad! Only things I wish we could have had was more cleaning supplies and better tools to clean the floor up from all of the sand. Kid friendly room, but lots of breakable things, so you just have to be on your guard with kids! The beds were a little hard, but we managed! All in all so glad that we stayed here!

Condo in need of maintenance. Master shower doesn't drain, master toilet flapper broken, master bathroom toilet was dirty, master bedroom mattress feels very old and coils make it feel like you're being pushed out of the bed, some pillows were filthy and others were very flat, no light on balcony, living room ceiling fan lights were burned out, dishwasher door seems to be bent to the point that when you roll the bottom tray out to load dishes, the tray tries to roll off of the door, several dishes in the cabinets had been put away with food still on them, missing drawer knob in kitchen, second bathroom mirror is barely hanging on with a thin wire, second bathroom trash can has one leg broken off so it is lopsided, numerous walls throughout have be patched over, but not repainted. The staff of the property was very friendly and helpful, but there is a significant wait for an elevator during check in/out. Pool was beautiful and beach access was great. Parking was sufficient, but waiting to get your parking pass was a painful process.

Needs updating

Overall a good stay. There was no mattress pad for master bedroom and the recliner needs to be trashed. New living room furniture would be a good idea.

The furniture is gross. Needs furniture upgrade. The bed in master very basic and uncomfortable with squeaky noise. Also no mattress cover only sheet which is concerning for cleanliness. We also put blanket over chair and couch due to wear and just being gross. Shower had lots of mold in it. Master shower and toilet room very small. Unit needs a update over all. Wonderful view and location that is about it. Would not visit unit again.

The view was amazing!

This was a great condominium! Close to the elevator doors. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. The beds were good. I liked that the kids bedroom was on the opposite side of the primary bedroom.

Amazing views!

The views from this 14th floor balcony are amazing! Listening to the waves, seeing dolphins in the morning are memories we'll have forever. Our two girls loved the kids room with the "extra bunks" above. A few things needing an upgrade...the couch and recliner are very worn and don't have much support, maybe an extra cooking pan in the kitchen also. Lastly if you are picky about your linens...bring your own! For our family this unit provided us many memories just needs a few furniture updates. From the property standpoint. Great location, outdoor pool great, beach amazing but if you are counting on the indoor pool...its not the best, the hot tubs are less than desirable, and my eyes burned so bad from the enclosed space and chlorine. Hope someone else can make memories like we did!

Loved the kids room!

The condo was really very much what we expected. The kids room was excellent with the bunk beds. Everything was clean and functioned as expected. The condo complex was nice with several activities to do. Our kids loved the splash pad! There were really two negatives for our stay. We had an issue at checkin. We were originally told the room was booked to someone else which led to me having to call beachball properties to work it out. This was a little frustrating as we had to make the call to work this out. Both me and my wife had to work through this issue after a pretty long drive and just ready to get the kids out of the car. The person working the desk said someone has made a documentation error. The only other negative was the recliner. It was badly chewed on to the point of being extremely gross. We placed a blanket over it and also used it to activate the recliner as the handle was also really chewed and gross. We selected this condo as it said no pets, but there were definitely pets in the condo at some point. The recliner really gives the whole condo a rough look. The table also appeared to have been chewed on but nothing was as gross as the recliner. Overall it was a good experience. The booking issue was probably and odd occurrence and not common. The recliner really needs to be trashed.

Think twice

The pics make it look a lot nicer than it really is, by that I mean the property needs a lot of love and some serious cleaning! There were dirty dishes put away in the cabinets . The tubs and sinks were stopped up and had to call someone to fix. The furniture was all mix match and worn out! Beds were uncomfortable and need replacing. I love going to the Phoenix V but won’t stay in the unit again.
