We’ve been to Omak several times and always ended up staying in Okanogan which wasn’t very convenient. This time we needed to stay for 6 weeks and the Oak Street Farm House was perfect. The house matched the online pic perfectly. It was middle of winter and VERY cold out but the heater kept the house warm and cozy.
We needed to work from home during those 6 weeks and Amanda had already upgraded their wifi so it was perfect. We streamed, conferenced called and worked online each week without issue.
Because we were “long termers” we had access to the downstairs W/D which were brand new - along with available detergent.
We did buy a few cleaning supplies since we were there so long but the expected cleaning supplies and toiletries were all there and plentiful.
The location is across from a park and on a quite to mildly driven road. We walked everywhere; up to Safeway, down town, the the Breadline - easy access everywhere.
We used the back bedroom as an office and the front bedroom was very comfortable. We had some suggestions to help long term stays but furniture around the house was logical, functional and cute. Living room was great for watching TV or visiting with friends.
Kitchen had all we needed but we had brought quite a bit too.
The fireplace wasn’t to be used but it would have been so great to have had even a gas fireplace since wood burning isn’t safe up there. Maybe as they continue adding to the already adorable house…..:)
Highly recommend!!
