We planned late and were able to find this unit still available a week out. I was a little nervous about that, but once we arrived, there was nothing to worry about.
If you are not familiar with OOB as a Maine destination, read up on that first. If you choose OOB as your spot, this was a great spot.
Pros: location was awesome. The beach was a short walk down the hill (it's not a long/steep hill, but there is a hill). The pier is walkable as well (but was a bit much of a loop for our youngest, but still do-able). Clean, open space. Comfortable beds. All linens were provided. Check in and check out SUPER easy. We had an issue with the building door, but the property managers were SUPER responsive; very easy to talk to. Pet friendly. OOB, the beach, the property. Check out - clean up, lock the door and done. Amazing. Other places are MUCH more involved.
Cons - nothing major! Little stuff that may be best as suggestions: entry table to throw keys, sunscreen, etc on. The bedrooms in this unit were on the East side of the building and were really bright in the AM. For late sleepers, bring a mask. Otherwise, get up and go for a morning walk on the beach. Stop at Tami Lyn's on the way (awesome little spot just down Union Ave).
Overall, we were REALLY happy with the property - it was a great spot for what we needed and what we were looking for.
